[boy oh boy, isn't everyone just so excited to explore this... charming... place...?

this is a game-wide mingle and the timeframe isn't super-important, so throw in with whatever you want! play war games, go shopping for gas masks, get lost in the wilderness, hide up in the Iskaulit and refuse to set foot on the moon, anything goes.

[ he's not really sure if he should be doing this, but he's wanted to since he and kitty first met - heck, since they first talked - so he allows himself to just lean into it. enjoy what they have, right? his own hand wraps around her, resting on her back. ]

[She's thought about kissing him a few times already. It's been awhile—too long—and he's cute, funny, smart and then he even has the rough orphan past? Come on. Of course he'll probably have to kill or attempt to kill her to really be her type. But she wouldn't mind skipping that part. She's also not looking that far ahead. She's got this right up until she needs to breathe. After that, it's anyone's game. Speaking of which, there needs to be some parting for breath right about now. She doesn't pull away though. She just separates their lips.]

[ it's a good thing she doesn't mind skipping it, because he's definitely not into ever so much as considering doing her harm. when they break apart, he takes in shaking breaths, his face flushed. it's been a while.

he smiles at her. they've been abducted from their homes, who knows if or how many people and aliens are watching them right now, they've just been through an emotional roller-coaster -- and he couldn't care less. right at this second - he's happy. ]

[ he leans back in for another kiss. ]

[That gets a smile from her and when he re-initiates the kiss her touch is softer and more exploring. She's still very much in the moment because she has no idea what the next one will bring and kind of expects to regret this any minute, but right now she is doing anything but that.]

[ his free hand makes its way up to her cheek, tangling in her hair as his thumb is left behind to caress it. maybe it's wrong of him, not to question what they're doing, but nobody can be always right, and he never pretended to be. ]

The things I'll do for non-existent points. [A little breathless as they part again for that annoying breathing thing. She nuzzles a little. She really, really missed this. Even if it is also completely new since it's Winn.]

[ he laughs, leaning his forehead against hers ]

Pays to be the point-master. [ even though he knows that's not why they're doing this - they've had moments. repeatedly. - a tiny part of him can't help but be a little concerned. ]

You know I wanted you to kiss me back on the Tourist. The ship. Not an actual tourist. That would be awkward. [Her fingers are playing lightly on his neck.]

I -- wanted to kiss you.

[ but he got too wrapped up in his own head. too nervous. too worried to put a dent in another good thing. too scared of getting rejected again. he strokes her cheek. ]

I should've. Is that why you took off?

You hid it well.

[Oh, sure, bring up her being weird about it why don't you.] Maaaybe.

I have a lot of lame superpowers.

[ kara didn't see it coming either. hey, sharing is caring! if he gets awkward, you get some too. he smiles. ]

Anything. [ he repeats his promise from before. that includes the really nice kissing. ]

Anything? [She can't read your mind or your brackets, Winn. You may want to upgrade to a more powerful model.]

[ he would, but he can't get a signal here :c ]

You can tell me anything. [ especially if it's something like I want you to kiss me, because that's more the kind of thing he hears in his dreams rather than in real life. ]

Though this time I'm not promising it's not gonna go to my head.

Does that go for asking you things too? [You're not going to like this one as much.]

Yeah - [ he tilts his head a little, curiously. ] Shoot.

Where are you at with being into Kara? [The "are you into her" is not even a question. Skipping right past that to certainty and status.]

And whatever it is, it's okay. [She couldn't say she's really over Reid even if she is ready to move on.]

[ he pulls back a little bit from the sheer shock; if she'd have given him a thousand guesses, he still wouldn't have picked that one. he thought he was doing alright - not looking at her longingly like he used to, just being a good friend. liking kitty definitely helped. but maybe he's not doing as well as he thought...and that's a concerning thought. maybe he shouldn't be spending so much time on the tourist...the last thing any of them needs right now is for things to get awkward again. ]

We're just friends. [ he sighs, running a hand through his hair. the mood sure changed fast. ] You don't have to worry about that, it's what we both want to be. She's never seen me as anything else and I, [ he promised honesty. ] accept that. I'm getting over it. [ to say that he's completely over her would be a lie, but it hasn't been that long...is that an explanation, or a reason why he shouldn't have kissed kitty? but how is he supposed to get over kara if he won't let himself be into someone else? ]

Guess I'm not...doing as well as I thought yet. [ apologetically. he must not be, if she picked up on it. ]

[Oh, that's more shock than she expected. Maybe this was a bad way to go.] No, you're doing fine. [She might have suspected something, but the certainty was because Kara told her about the kiss and looking at him right now she feels like she should tell him that, but then Kara's feelings and why is this high school? She didn't even go to high school.]

Is it weird if I tell you I'm sorry she didn't see it as more when I'm also kind of not sorry?

[ if only he could read her brackets; the thought that kara might have told anyone doesn't really occur to him. (but did she have to tell kitty of all people?) ]

Well it'd be -- disappointing if you were sorry. [ because that would have meant that he's either the world's worst kisser, or that this meant nothing. neither option is particularly appealing to him. ]

You're using your lips for the wrong thing. [Not really. She likes talking to him. She just wants to reassure him without blowing Kara's cover right now. Also, she just wants to kiss him again. So she'll lean in for that.]

[ he's more than happy to lean back, relieved to know that she meant it -- that he didn't just ruin everything between them over an unrequited love. there's slightly more force in his kiss this time; he's got something to prove, something to atone for, as weird as it is feeling like he has to atone for his feelings. the last thing he wants is to make her feel like a consolation prize, because that's not even close to how he sees her. ]

[Nothing ruined at all. She already knew he had feelings for Kara and she still kissed him. It even sounds like it might have been longer ago than she guessed which is nice. She still has her feelings for Reid and even Piotr though those feelings are even more complicated. Should she mention she was married? Maybe if she were thinking about it herself, but he's pretty far from her mind right now.

She's just here in this moment enjoying kissing him. There's no feelings of jealousy over Kara. No possessiveness in her feelings for Winn. Not yet at least. She's not sure she's ready for anything exclusive and serious, but she's also not sure she isn't which is so much further along than she had been.

He does surprise her with the added passion this time around. It's a good surprise. She finds herself meeting it because it really has been way too long. Mid-kiss she shifts and straddles his lap instead. Closer is better, right?]

[ closer is definitely better. this is the high school experience he wishes he had.

right down to the stupid grin that's plastered all over his face when they step back out through the door. somehow, walking through walls just isn't as exciting as it used to be. ]

Where to?

[ a part of him very much wants to suggest they head back to a proper bunk, but then, he hasn't really spent much time on the bishop, he's not sure how much privacy they'll have there, and kara's couch on the tourist is probably not fair game. that's not really what she offered it to him for. ]

Oh! I heard there's a scrap yard. I wanted to check it out if you want to go. I have no idea what's there, but it might be useful for the project?

[Okay, yes, it's a little disappointing, but not wanting to do more in there was less about it being a storage closet and more about the moon being kind of gross and making her feel kind of gross and she's still going to feel some of that even if she takes him back to the Windrose. Their bathroom really isn't set up for company fun time privacy and that would be a pretty bold and possibly awkward way for a first time or there would be the awkwardness of taking turns and just...no. So, back to shopping? It's not like either of them are going anywhere. She hopes.]

It is outdoors though so we'll have to mask up.

[ he'll take getting back to shopping with her over going back to the tourist alone, any day. and she's probably right - they don't even know how sheltered they really are in here. he wouldn't be human if he weren't a little disappointed, but he nods with a smile all the same. ]

Yeah, that could be really useful - let's check it out.

[ if she gets taken away now, or he wakes up in some other strange universe -- he may just flip. there's only so much injustice he can take. ]
