Needless to say, he's a bit surprised and just a little confused when his opponent (with the lovely metal arm) actually makes as if he's going to retaliate. What sort of fight is anyone expecting from soft bats?
Theon is a good actor, though. He puts on his smile, no matter how little of it can actually be seen through the mask, and chuckles, shrugging Winter off as if he doesn't feel the lest bit intimidated by him. ]
