first one to make that doctor who joke loses

Who: Everyone! All of you!
Broadcast: Maybe!
Action: Definitely!
When: Anytime during the toxic moon event!

[boy oh boy, isn't everyone just so excited to explore this... charming... place...?

this is a game-wide mingle and the timeframe isn't super-important, so throw in with whatever you want! play war games, go shopping for gas masks, get lost in the wilderness, hide up in the Iskaulit and refuse to set foot on the moon, anything goes.

here's the main event info post for reference! have fun!]

I did. I find meditation refreshing, though I generally keep better track of the time than that. I've learned to set an alarm, should it happen again.

Oh, well, Loki was in one of the actual deep sleeps. Maybe I'll ask him what he was doing beforehand.

[Ah, Loki.]

You'd have a much better chance of getting an answer from him than I would, I believe.
passingthrough: (Curious - More than the surface)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-12 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Well that was suspicious. Why?
unbearablynaive: (oh dear)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-12 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
He dislikes me a great deal. Likely due to my possession of the Mind Stone, which was briefly in his own. That ended with him imprisoned in Asgard and rather a large part of New York City pulverized.
passingthrough: (Calm)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-13 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
You're from the same world? And... [Imprisoned, pulverized...okay] Oh.

...He's dating a friend of mine.
unbearablynaive: (concern)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-14 03:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Thor assures me he was under another's control and his actions became more honorable in time. [Even though it's Loki and Thor is pretty dupable.]

Rogue, yes? I can't say I understand the basis for their relationship, but if it's mutually satisfactory it's not my place to complain.
passingthrough: (Smoking - Distant)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-14 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the one. [Rogue did have some disclaimers as she was talking about him. This is probably why.] I'm pretty sure I'm the last one who can judge any relationship. [Doesn't mean she might not worry about her friend.]

You can't really blame someone for things they did under someone else's control though.
unbearablynaive: (mind stone)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-14 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I can't say I have much experience with them myself, and I'm assured that most movies and novels are inaccurate at best.

No, of course not. Dr. Banner would be terribly disappointed in me if I believed otherwise. The difficulty is when one shows no overt signs of being under another's control, as well as having a past history of, shall we say, questionable behavior. Loki's not precisely known for his trustworthiness at the best of times.
passingthrough: (Concern - This will be hard)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-15 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I wouldn't go off of movies and novels so much. I mean I'm sure some of them are getting it right, since there are lots of ways to have a relationship, but I'm pretty sure it's a skewed sample.

[Though her thoughts are more with Loki.]

That would make things trickier. Has he done anything in his time with the fleet that's questionable?
unbearablynaive: (upward bound)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-15 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
Easier not to attempt it, I think. [Besides, he hasn't ever felt any need to, so. Easier, indeed.]

No, not that I'm aware of. Though as long as he's not actively trying to bring about harm, I hardly have any reason to interfere with him.
passingthrough: (Thoughtful)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-15 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Relationships? [Or just learning about them through fiction.]

I understand he spent a lot of time in Luceti. Maybe he's changed. These things can be...transforming. [It has been for her.]
unbearablynaive: (geared up)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-15 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Actual relationships, yes. I'm more than willing to watch as many movies as Wrath likes. [She does like her cheesy action flicks, and there's as often a romance angle as not.]

No doubt. But as one of the Aesir, is he more resistant to change? Or more prone to it, when outside his home? Either way, I feel it prudent to be observant.
passingthrough: (Calm)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-15 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
So, you haven't had one? [Or are you and Wrath dating with multiple movie nights?]

I would never suggest anyone not be observant. [But.] Aesir?
unbearablynaive: (upward bound)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-16 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
No, I've not had one. [There's a suggestion he would laugh at; they both just like the company.]

The people of Asgard and similar realms - Asgardians, Vanir, Alfar, and the like are all Aesir by culture.
passingthrough: (Contemplative)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-16 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. [Why did she ask? Now she doesn't know what to say. Better to focus on some Asgardians.] I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I think there's probably a lot about Loki's culture I don't know.

But he's long lived, right? I could see that making less of a dent.

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-16 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm certain the same applies to me, but I do count Thor as an especial friend and I've quite enjoyed our conversations together.

[He nods.] As I understand it, he's roughly a thousand years old - young adulthood by their standards.
passingthrough: (Thoughtful)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-17 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's...hard to relate to what that would be like. [It's been a long time since she even expected an average human lifespan. Part of her is surprised she lived as long as she did. Not that she isn't still alive because of the abduction of course.]
unbearablynaive: <user name=starcandies> (innocent)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-18 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
[He tilts his head to one side.]

Consider that, in contrast, I've not even reached a year yet.
passingthrough: (Amused - Sideways glance)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-18 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's pretty hard to relate to as well. Should we really have a minor as the captain? [Kidding. Just kidding.]
unbearablynaive: (slight smile)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-18 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
[He smiles.]

Well, as it was Natasha's choice rather than my own, I can't say either way. Though if one were to count the Mind Stone's age instead, I'd be several aeons old.
passingthrough: (Calm)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-18 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Do you feel like you're several aeons old?
unbearablynaive: (oh dear)

[personal profile] unbearablynaive 2016-04-18 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, certainly not. I have only existed as myself for the much shorter time period.
passingthrough: (Smile)

[personal profile] passingthrough 2016-04-18 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
Then I think the one year is right for you.
