[boy oh boy, isn't everyone just so excited to explore this... charming... place...?

this is a game-wide mingle and the timeframe isn't super-important, so throw in with whatever you want! play war games, go shopping for gas masks, get lost in the wilderness, hide up in the Iskaulit and refuse to set foot on the moon, anything goes.

here's the main event info post for reference! have fun!]

True--I guess any dark side taint would have a hard time hanging around for as long as it takes to get from my time to your time. [not like an ancient sith is gonna still be lurking around by that time right? right.] I like the idea that it becomes a rebel base. Is that in your time?

[While she's talking, she manages to unearth a side door and pulls away some junk. The hinges are rusted, but so is the body of the door itself. She pries it open, with much groaning and squeaking.]

Geez. I really miss my lightsaber.

Just a little before my time. About twenty years -- Mom was still pretty young, and fighting the Empire.

[Jaina slips to the side of the doorway while Vima pries at it, one hand up and peering just in case anything's waiting to come leaping out at them.]

It'd be nice to have around. But we can get the light part.

[Presuming an old building isn't properly lit inside, she'll pry a light off her belt and shine it in.]

Your mom sounds like she's had an impressive career.

[The light illuminates... a lot of oily old junk. Vima steps in carefully, prodding the floor with her foot to ensure it's not going to collapse and glancing up at the ceiling to check that it's not going to come don on their heads.]

I think we're the only ones here... [She takes a more assured step further in, using her sleeve to wipe off a placard near the door: 008 DAYS SINCE THE LAST FATAL ACCIDENT. Well, that's inspiring. She tries what looks like a computer panel next to it, but it doesn't even beep.] I guess that's one sign against this place secretly being used by smugglers.
