first one to make that doctor who joke loses
Who: Everyone! All of you!
Broadcast: Maybe!
Action: Definitely!
When: Anytime during the toxic moon event!
---
[boy oh boy, isn't everyone just so excited to explore this... charming... place...?
this is a game-wide mingle and the timeframe isn't super-important, so throw in with whatever you want! play war games, go shopping for gas masks, get lost in the wilderness, hide up in the Iskaulit and refuse to set foot on the moon, anything goes.
here's the main event info post for reference! have fun!]

Sorry. If it means anything, I think Tyki gives anything a bad name.
no subject
Yeah, so...
[Oh, look, something interesting on the ground to look at. She'll just look at that especially since she can't see any of Allen's expressions through that thing.]
Full disclosure, he and I were together for awhile. Obviously it was a big mistake that ended badly, and I regret everything and should have known better. [She did know better, but she was hurting and she had her reasons at the time and it's just something she has to live with now.]

[WOW THIS IS NOT A PLOT TWIST HE WAS EXPECTING. In fact, it's like his brain comes to a sudden screeching halt. Her and- tyki?! Tyki?! TYKI?!]
Wh-
Him-
Why?!

And then, our generous wardens decided to show me footage of being killed back home...by my husband. The person I trusted most. I didn't take it well. And I...wanted someone I wouldn't let myself trust and things happened and once things happened it didn't seem as wrong the second time. [Or the third or thirtieth.]

[On one hand, he can empathize with the idea that it was a bad decision made when she was in a bad emotional spot. God knows what it must feel like being shown footage of something like that. Allen's made his own fair share of bad decisions when he was in a bad spot emotionally. The state of his face alone was proof of that.]
[But at the same time...he feels a twist in the stomach, like he's going to be sick. He thinks of that night in the bamboo thicket that even years later, still occurs in his nightmares. He thinks of receiving causality reports of Tyki's victims, of played with and nearly suffocated in the Ark, of watching Tokusa's arms get sliced off...]
You...You knew what he did to my comrades? To my world? To me? And yet you still choose to... [Sleep with him, multiple times from the sound of it. Even if it was over now, even if she regretted- she still made that choice, knowing fully well of his crimes. All while claiming...she was his friend. That her and this other Allen were close. That there could be trust.]
[He ends up shaking his head and taking a few steps back]
I'm sorry. I don't know what to make of that.

[There's a pained look in her eyes because he's right. She knows it now and she knew it then even though she was trying to convince herself it was okay because she he made her feel something different. Something other than the pain she didn't know how to deal with. Something other than the loneliness that felt like it was going to consume her.
Allen still meant more to her, and she should have shown that even if he dealt with her and Tyki at the time. Her voice softens, just loud enough to be heard through the mask.] I'm sorry.
If I could take it back... [Her voice actually shakes a little and so she stops. She was the one doing the bad thing. She doesn't get to have the sad, shaky voice.]

[He takes another step back, another shake of his head, a sweep of his hands. He can hear her apologies, that she clearly regretted what she did and that she would rather undo it. He knows it's not his place to condemn people. Everyone make mistakes, nothing is black and white in the worlds.]
[But even with those thoughts, it doesn't stop the hurt. It doesn't stop the anger, the pain. This is a woman that claimed to be a trusted friend, but then went and had a relationship with a man whose done so much to hurt him and those he loved. This wasn't even just a drink or a hand of cards- he could handle that. No, it sounded like a much closer bond than that.]
[If I could take it back..]
Some things can't take back. [His voice is quiet, but there's a fire] You can't. Just like my comrades can't come back to life. Just like Suman can't undo his Fall. [his right fist clenches at his side] Just like...the hundreds of other terrible things that Tyki has done. They can't be taken back.
[The world doesn't work that way. There was no such thing as a means to undo such things. There's a pause, before he finally decides to take his mask off so she can see his expression, and hear his voice clearly. Pollution be damned]
Look. I don't know what your Allen was like, I'm not him. But I know my comrades mean the world to me. Even if I haven't seen them in years...even if I might never see them again- I will always choose to side with them. I will always be an Exorcist. [No matter what. It was his promise] And I know you're not an Exorcist. I don't expect you to fight in our war, or even never speak with the Noah. It's your personal life, you're free to do what you want with it. I don't condemn people for that, even if they choose to spend time with Noahs.
But...you don't get to call me a trusted friend and do that. Even with an apologies and regrets, it's...
[Words too often rang hollow. He barely knew this woman. There was no proof she wouldn't just do it again if Tyki showed up and she was in another rough patch. He starts putting on his mask back on, and it's clear he's planning on leaving very soon.]
It just...doesn't work that way.

As things went on she found herself looking at Tyki as another lost orphan like her, but he'd been changed by forces he couldn't control. She saw him struggle with it at times. She even spent a day with him where the prison had removed the noah and she held him as the noah painfully returned. She empathized and overlooked and started doing the things she never meant to do by placing even a little trust in him. And for a very long time he didn't hurt anyone.
...And then he did.
It wasn't just a fight either. She saw the aftermath and the pleasure, performance, and art he took with it. The thought of ever having been with him turns her stomach now. No, if he ever came here, memories or not, she doesn't know what she'd do, but she'd never go back to being with him. He is the only person in the last year she's tried to kill and the only thing she regrets about it is failing.]
He, you deserved better. I don't expect you to trust me.
It was complicated, but it was still wrong and I wouldn't trust me either. I didn't for awhile afterward. [She sees him backing away and getting ready to leave and she holds back the urge to move closer.]
I'd understand if you wanted me to stay as far on the other side of the fleet as I could get, [softer] but I would really appreciate just the chance to try and prove myself. [Just start from the ground up or probably somewhere significantly beneath the ground.]

[He starts turning to leave, he takes a step- then he stops for a moment in hesitation as other thoughts and memories cross his mind.]
[....]
A chance. [he speaks over his shoulder] I need time, but...I can give a chance.
[A chance to prove what? He's not sure. He's not at all sure of this choice. But sometimes there were feelings and memories you could not shake.]
I'll see you later.
[And with that, he's leaving. He needs time to clear up his thoughts]

She doesn't know what to do from here, but she knows she has grown and changed over these months. Time always felt so densely packed in the prison. So much happened over such short spans and she isn't the person who made those first bad decisions. Not that she's free from mistakes, but she's not getting close to another noah and that's a start? Not that she can really prove that without noah here but she's glad for them not to be.
She'll just give Allen time for now and let him contact her next if she can handle the wait.]
Later.
[She's just going to lean back against her dead tree and watch him walk away. She wipes at her eyes. Must have been the pollution getting to them.]
