[ Hello, flooters! You may think this is just an unintentional feed, what with it opening up on a very boring ceiling. There's a big plume of smoke, and then the camera shakes and a very impassive Sanzo shows up. ]

Alright. I've been here too damn long, and shit just keeps getting weirder. So it's time for a little interrogation. [ He pauses, drawing on his cigarette. How the hell has he not run out of these things, yet? ] What's the worst-case scenario in shit I have to deal with? Do these Atroma take us anyplace decent, or are they all shitholes in the middle of goddamn nowhere?

Well, if the current destination is anything to go by, I'm going to say that hoping for a resort planet might be a waste of time. I've also heard of an ice planet.

If you go on the theory that they want drama for this show of theirs, sending us nice places doesn't really make sense.

Heh, I think that's true anywhere, really. Though I've found that the most barren landscapes somehow house the things with the most teeth.

If there even is. I've heard of some creative ways people have tried and gotten their butts handed to them for their efforts.

True, but if you have to get your ass handed to you, might as well be for trying something like getting home, right?

There are better things to waste your time and efforts with.

A little pointless considering the fact that we don't even know where the hell we are.

I don't think trying to get home is a pointless thing. And maybe we don't know where exactly we are, but if we get ships that are able to take coordinates, the computers can do a lot of the math for us. I, at least, know the galactic coordinates for my planet, and there's resources there to help get everyone else home if we can reach them.

_{[ He shrugged. ]}

But that's just one solution, and a long ways off. We'd have to get away from the Fleet first.

[Vash hears the message and sees the smoke, but decides not to answer through the communicator. Instead he walks past Sanzo's room and shouts loudly.]

My guess the most dangerous thing to worry about is lung cancer! Those things will kill you!

[Which Sanzo has probably heard several times already from Vash during his stay on the Three Twins.]

[ Of course he does. Why wouldn't he? Much to Sanzo's chagrin. If Hakkai can't get him to stop, neither can you, Vash. ]

May as well smoke two at once then. At the very least, it would shorten the sentence.

[ Sanzo, you're only 25, shut up. ]

[Vash couldn't get his best friend to quit. He doesn't really expect Sanzo to quit either. Doesn't mean he can't hope for the best anyway.]
