These masks continue to be a pain in the ass, huh?

But I guess the alternative is being laid up in bed sick — which I don't recommend, in case you're feeling brave, because seeing the people who took off their masks isn't inspiring any faith here. As for me, I'm needing a little break from travelling around down there in all that questionable toxin. Not exactly my cup of coffee, you know? Prefer more open roads, more green and, uh. An ocean I can smell and not go into coughing fits over.

Maybe I'll just spitball some stuff to pass the time while I question what I'm eating from these kitchens? I'm feeling nosy. Call it an acquired skill set, being nosy. Back in the other place I was trapped in, I mostly gathered information about our bestiary; monsters from all kinds of worlds would fall into the world with us, and I did my fair share of fighting some pretty rough creatures. Including the killer rabbits that would try to sabotage my garden. They're small, fast, and aim for the jugular, FYI.

I figure I'm being totally transparent, but I'm a big fan of information gathering. But it's also... actually really nice to be in one place long enough to get to know people. How often do you have the chance to learn about alternate universes? Small pluses.

You're right, the food could definitely be worse.

In the last place I was in, we had a bad... famine. The animals went rabid, all the food died, the water went bad — I prefer the weird cubed space food by a mile.

Earth is special just because there are a lot of people from there. Homesickness and all. And this kind of stuff is pretty impossible for a lot of people from earth, too.

thats exactly what i mean things could be a lot worse sorry you had to deal with that though do you have some backup supplies on your ship in case the protein machines break its a good idea we dont have an engineer so its something i keep in mind

Been considering that. I mean, I've been helping with the gardens we have in case of emergency, but if those die that'd be a problem.

And... Maybe Earth is extinct in this universe, and they like to revisit what's long gone now. It's the same interest humans have in dinosaurs, back on Earth. In my world. Which... sucks to think, that my planet might not exist here, but. I can see plenty of ways Earth would end up exploding.

Or whatever it might be.

since we cant control where the marsiva leads us yeah it would be we have some provisions on my ship but it wouldnt last long if the protein machines broke guess itd be a good idea to stock up on some good old freeze dried rations i hoped i was done with those

i hope it didnt blow up that means theres some real trouble and i like not having trouble here maybe were just in a different galaxy that likes to spy on people it would explain this reality show thing

beats me i never watched a reality show before im not even sure they have them where im from but people in charge like to lie if it means making people do what they want so i guess i wouldnt be surprised then again im not sure what theyre trying to accomplish here do you have reality shows or do you think theyre just messing with us
