[After a few minutes, the whine of a shuttle engine can be heard. When it gets close enough, Finn pops the shuttle hatch open. Sure enough, he's in the Security armor and he waves over to Sora.]
Here! You drive, I'll hang out the back.

[And Sora will be at the very top of a tree, trying to wave down the shuttle so Finn can see him. From the bottom of the tree can be heard the sound of angry bear sounds. Yep. Definitely a bear]
You sure?!
[He's prepping to jump but man that does sound dangerous for Finn]
action
[Trees are great at breaking falls, right? Well, and Finn's got himself clipped in, so all he has to do is help catch Sora when he jumps. And hope the kid can fly a shuttle....]
action
[Honestly even for Sora, this is a biiiig act of trust for someone this guy has just met. But whatever!! He's not going to look a gift rapidash in the mouth!]
[And so with one more glance down he focuses on the shuttle and jumps for it. Which considering he's got good old high jump? It should be pretty easy for him to make it!]

Told you there wasn't much room! Can you fly? I can hang on, just try not to crash into too many trees.
[Yes, he's suggesting Sora fly a one-man shuttle while Finn hangs out the back. What, it's not like they're far from town!]

[CAN he fly? The augment is telling him the info, but its not like he's ever done it]
I can try? But maybe you should fly! I can hang on the back! It's fine!

But if you want to ride, hang on real tight. With your arms and your legs. And I'll go slow, but we'll get away pretty soon anyway.

Yeah, I'm sure. You'd get hurt if you fell, I wouldn't. And if I crashed- well-
[Yeah. Bad news for both. Either way, he's shifting to grab onto the back to hang on. Fortunately, he feels pretty comfortable being up this high- even if the air was grossly polluted.]
Okay, got it. I'll hang on tight.

[And with a whoosh, the shuttle gains some altitude and they're clear of the trees. Finn drives slow enough that's Sora's not in any actual danger of falling out, but it's at enough of a clip to get them well clear of the bear and flying back toward town in no time. he shouts over his shoulder so Sora can hear him over the wind.]
How'd you make it mad, anyway? or is that just what they're like?

[And oh, Finn's talking to him]
Uh- I dunno, I've never met a bear before! [The only reason he knew the name was because the other animals were screaming it] But I think it got mad that I bumped into it while it was sleeping.

Yeah, that'd make anyone mad. Too bad I haven't seen any stunners here. Be a good way to get out of something like that!
Hey, what's your name, anyway?

Good to meet you, Sora! All right, hold on, I gotta descend now.
[Sora wasn't really that far from town, as the shuttle flies. Finn's a careful flier, not like his friends but good enough not to let the kid fall.]

Yeah, you too! Thanks for this! [And he's holding on!]

[And he sets the shuttle down without incident. Finn hops out after Sora lets go.]
Everything okay? Sorry I only had a small shuttle.

[He's really not up to explaining Pokemon right now ok. But he'll hop off and brush himself off]
Yeah, it's okay! Thanks for coming to save me! I guess I owe ya.

Hey, no problem. I might be visiting your ship sometimes anyway, so it's good to know people from there. [And not let them get eaten by bears.]
