[A rather disgusted-looking Al is holding up what looks like a stack of magazines when he turns the camera on.]

Today, our lovely sponsors have sent me a stack of armor catalogs. I guess they figured that I miss my armor and would want to wear a set again... but I don't, really. I found a way to reuse my old body for other things back home, so I don't need to buy more. But that's not all... [He holds up a few images of a boy roughly his age and height modeling a very gaudy outfit.] They also want me to dress for this upcoming huge party, I guess. I don't know, do you all think I would look good in this outfit?

I do! I could always ask Kitty or Wanda, too... I feel a little weird not knowing this, but I've never had to dress for a ball before. I've done a suit and tie for formal occasions, but nothing like this, and Brother would just as soon wear a masquerade costume as he would eat his coat.

Points for effort, I guess.

Not a fan of fancy parties I take it? I can relate. But hey, I think it's pretty normal for a guy not to know how those things work. It's more of a lady thing.

Yeah, if I were at home, I'd have Winry and Granny to dress me.

Brother's not a party guy, no- and being involved with the military like we were, there wasn't much time to party, anyway. Whenever there was some kind of celebration, we tended to be pretty far from it doing research and stuff anyway.

There you go. Everyone has some girls in their life to do that for them. Uh...assuming Winry is a girl.

Sounds like my ideal night, honestly. I'd pick research over a fancy party any day.

Yep! Winry was pretty much a sister to us- Granny was an old drinking buddy of my dad's, so she helped raise us and took care of us when Mom died, and Winry was around our age, so we grew up together.

That definitely sounds like Brother. I wouldn't mind a party myself, though- I want to take advantage of things like this while I can.

I don't blame you! You go out there and dance with all the ladies...or the guys, I'm not gonna judge, and have a great time.

Okay so first off, girls really, really like it when you show them you admire and respect them. Don't just say they have pretty eyes or something, compliment them on a skill or suchlike. Show them that you're actually interested in what they do.

Hmmm, that makes sense... especially because I know a lot of warrior women who don't really put much stock in their looks. Like, I can't imagine Teacher's husband attracted her attention that way, but if he complimented her ability to fight or her alchemy... that'd reach her faster.

I don't have any prospects here right now, but I'll be sure to ask you for more advice if I do, love-teacher.

Put it this way- Teacher is the only person Brother and I are scared of. I love her and have nothing but respect for her, but she's not the kind of person to underestimate.

I'd say I'd become the ladies' man and make Brother jealous at all the attention I'm getting, but he's only ever had eyes for Winry. And obviously a suit of armor is a little hard to ask on a date.

Heh, she really sounds like my girlfriend.

He'll probably be a little bit jealous anyway. And you're still you, armor or not. That's what you gotta sell. Who you are.

I wish I could meet Suki. I'm sure you'd love to see her, too, huh?

I at least managed to never scare kittens off when I was armor, so that was something.

[Such a dreamy sigh. ] Yeaaaah. I really miss her. And you'd love her. She's great. She's the greatest.

And here's me thinking kittens were the easiest frightened animal ever. Goes to show you.

[Al simply smiled at the first part.]

I think animals either liked me because I was gentle or respected me because I never shied away if they tried to hurt me. I could stay on their level and not flinch, which can be important when trying to connect. Plus, I could shelter them from the elements.

Huh. Can't say I'm that great with animals beyond Appa and Momo. Animals are more a food thing for me than a pet thing.

Yeah, I can see that. What kind of animals are Momo and Appa?

Momo is a flying lemur and Appa is a sky bison. They're animals usually found around the air temples. They can both fly, which is pretty neat. We ride around on Appa a lot.

Whoa- a bison that can fly? I can't even imagine that! And he's big enough to ride?

Yep! They use airstreams or....something. They're the original airbenders.

And he's huge! Kind of obvious when we were trying to be stealthy. but he's the most comfortable ride you'd ever want.

Wow... [Al sounds awed.] Your world sounds pretty great in general. All we had were trains and cars.
