[ he smiles as they pull apart; he's already used to it. ]

[ it's his turn to almost blush - no, you know what? that gets a bit of a blush. ]

Every day? [ he's assuming it's a joke but even still, that calling him every day would even come to mind is moving, let alone the implication that she'd have something new to say on every call. ]

[She almost says, "unless you'd get tired of me," but it sounds too much like another trick so she holds it back.] Every day that I don't see you in person.

[ that sounds a little bit less like she's kidding, and he's not really sure how to feel about that. has he ever spoken to someone every single day? maybe his parents, before everything went to crap, but that's different. sure, he talks to kara a lot - but that's usually in person, because they worked together, and now they're on the same ship.

this is the most wanted he's ever felt in his life. but he can't possibly express that. ]

[ too soon? when she gets the affirmative, she comes in with a glass in each hand and Hank behind her with two more ]

[too soon or not, Hank makes a quiet, amused noise and peeks in before he follows her. He'll hold out a glass to whoever's nearest, movements just on this side of careful]

[Kara's question made Kitty raise a suggestive eyebrow at Winn, but she was good and did not call out some teasing reply they were probably not ready to hear...FOR NOW! She doesn't let go of Winn's hand just because they're there, but she does to reach for a water from Hank.]

Thanks. Did you both miss us? We're very missable.

[ if she's not letting go, then neither is he, even if it's a little awkward to be sitting on the couch holding hands with people in the room. he doesn't want her to feel like he's embarrassed of -- whatever they are. he actually couldn't be more proud.

though he appreciates her restraint, because he might have needed that hand to hide his face in without it.

he takes the glass from kara with his free hand ]

Thanks. [ he glances over at kitty with amusement. their conversation went through so many feelings - he's glad they came back to the both of them being in pretty high spirits, before looking back at hank ] So - tour! That's -- Kara's dress - [ he nods towards the partly made red dress ] Kitty's - [ a nod to the partly made blue ] my costume - [ nodding towards a mass of rolled up fabric. he got really far on that one, you see. ] and the rest I leave to Kara - [ turning to look at her, since he's not sure if there's something in particular she wanted to show hank. ]

I mean, there's not a lot to see but this is an office. Slash, current sewing room. But it's a nice space to have. To offer to my friends!

[ sips her water ]

[forever apologizing. But he glances at the dresses, then tilts his head, confused]

Don't worry about it. I don't think anyone even noticed it was incredibly awkward. [She smiles at the other girl.] Besides, it was a group effort.

[She glances at Hank, wondering if he's made it down to the moon yet. He is out of his lab though and off his ship. She has a small collection of guys reluctant to leave. Granted, Winn is afraid of heights so not exactly the same reason.] There's a masquerade going on down on the moon in a few days. The locals have been talking about it.

Don't worry. He doesn't just make people dresses compulsively. Though you'd rock an A-line. [Stage whisper to Winn.] That's a kind of dress, right? [Yes, of course he'd be more likely to know.]

My pleasure.

[ he smiles at kara, a little proudly. there isn't a whole lot for him to take pride in out here; it's partly why he was so eager to do something he's good at.

he stage whispers right back at kitty ]

I don't know, I'm pretty new to this 'making stuff for girls' thing. [ before supergirl's uniform, he mostly sewed for himself. ]

Though after this party, I wouldn't be surprised if I start sewing in my sleep. [ he's been doing so much of it. dresses for everyone! ]

You could've fooled me. You're pretty good at this whole costume thing.

Me, on the other hand, I'm useless with sewing.

Are you planning on going the masquerade, Hank? We can figure something out for you to wear...

[ she looks at Winn ]

[masquerade?? Oh yes that thing, the event he automatically tuned out when he heard about it on the moon, and purposely turned out when Charles and Erik were briefly talking about it. Yes, that.

He is going to ignore the dress comment, Kitty. Because no. Just no]

I kind of come equipped with a costume. [he gestures to himself with a slight smile] But, uh - I wasn't planning to? It really isn't something I'm . . . uh. I'm not a party person.

[at all, whatsoever]

Uh huh. [Smiling at Winn before turning her look back to Hank.]

Oh, come on, Kara obviously wants you to go. [Kitty, what are you encouraging?]

[ yeah, kitty what are you encouraging? ]

Well, I think we've about exhausted this room - [ because he's not about to show off what they've done with project plato. ] who wants to see the rest of the ship?

[ he stands up again, hanging on to kitty's hand for a beat before finally letting go. ]

[ Kara gives Hank a look like, "well, kitty's not wrong" ]

You really should come. We'll throw something together for you.

[ back to the group ]

Okay, well, we also checked out the kitchen. The bridge maybe?

[. . . it was just decided he's going, huh]

Er. [he could say no, but . . . nah. He knows how to pick his battles] I can - find something, or make something. Probably.

I'd like to see the bridge?

[Apparently she's encouraging more time spent with the person who makes her feel the most awkward in the fleet. Good life planning.] Bridge party. Kitty stands up too. There's something strangely satisfying about having a tour of the Tourist. Not that I didn't already poke around last time.
