[It's basic scientific method, that, but he's not sure how much of it she's familiar with.]

No, I didn't. [Tiny frown.] But I'm pretty sure I can remember!
wow I super missed this I'm sorry
I'd recommend writing down what you remember, and tweaking your future experiments until it's perfected. Many great discoveries have been found by accident, so it's important to be able to duplicate the "accident" in the future.
no worries!
[She smiles sheepishly.]
I never did do that well in science class.

I was of course created by scientists, so it can be difficult to remember not everyone has the same training. I think your work is very good, especially given that none of us are familiar with these plants to begin with.

Yeah I had to listen to them real hard, to figure them out. Ain't like at home.

[Yes, he knows it doesn't exactly work like that.]
Though I do hope you'd tell me if you hear any way I can improve their situation. I've tried to make it more comfortable here for them, given that inside a ship isn't exactly their natural environment.

[She looks over at the tanks.]
Are you gonna get more fish? I like having animals around, like Officer Snuggles.

[He floats over there himself and lays a hand on the glass, near to where the yellow fish is hanging out.]
It may be difficult to find more fish who meet the environmental requirements of these. Few oceans have the same salinity values and chemical composition. This moon certainly does not. I don't object to the idea, however.

I think it would be very simple to make something like that, yes. Do you have a small pet in mind?

The supplies to make a habitat are readily available on this moon, even if perhaps intended for other purposes. How large would you like it to be?

[He looks around thoughtfully and, after a moment, gestures to one of the corners stacked with cargo crates.]
Perhaps in this area? It could be used as a boundary marker between cargo and open area.

That'd be great! Long as the rest of the crew don't mind, that is.

[And let's be real, he's the most high-strung person ever. E v e r.]

What's that guy's problem anyway?

Ordis was a heavily damaged AI who has only recently been given an organic body. He is adjusting to that as well as the shock of his transfer here. His emotional instability is at least in part due to a--if you're familiar with the effects of a computer virus?

[Computers... are not really her thing, but she's young enough that she isn't completely living under a technological rock.]
So it's like someone messed with his head and he didn't heal right?

I didn't know that. I guess I owe him an apology.
