ok so eating all of this alone while everyone else is partying is absolutely my senior prom all over again just in space-setting.

so - what do we call ourselves? the fleeters? this is just for future knowledge, I am not in any way implying that title is.

are they going to serve frozen tequila cubes in that party? because if so then a) awesome and b) I think those should definitely be provided to those of us who are stuck here on board of the SS No-Date.

Yeah, I mean - maybe they'll have a belated after-party, that'll be seriously cool. It'll be awesome just to be able to step on that moon. I could do the whole one small step for man thing -

man, the multiverse is weird as it is but this place is something else. Maybe we need to develop a system that will store the information about the different worlds so people can do their reading. I mean - all we really have is time.

That isn't a bad idea. I know you can send documents over this thing - and I mean, there's also the library too, which helps with general knowledge.

[he huffs a little, sounding amused] You have time until you fill it up with different projects.

wait - there's an actual library? as in old, dusty books? or an awesome futuristic library of texts saved on a giant, super advanced computer with a really cool search engine? because -

[ pointing at his notepad that's already getting filled with notes written in a small, neat handwriting ]

Actual library with not-so-dusty books. No - uh, super computers that I saw, but I sort of just went straight for the books. [because knows his weaknesses, and if he was given some kind of super computer he'd be lost for days]

[ a little sigh of woe ]

right. well. we will need to back those on a computer so it might be killing two birds with one stone. we'll get the information backed up and also we might find out some new legit information.

Ah - right, digital books. That's a thing. [he has yet to really see it, but it absolutely fascinates him, the thought of books on computers] I'd be happy to help with that, you just - uh, might have to bear with me while I learn how to do it. I know how to back-up data, but that's on a computer that's probably older than you are.

dude, you're going to learn so fast. it can be our project. we'll back the stuff that's on the books - I mean, it's a good thing to do in case of a fire anyway.

ok I gotta figure it out. so in my realm we have meta-humans, humans that somehow got superhuman abilities. some are awesome some are...seriously weird. were you born a mutant? ok what is your mutant name?

[that is the most excited reaction he's ever gotten, holy crap]

I - yeah, I was born a mutant. It's caused by a gene that all mutants have, but each mutant has different - er, powers or abilities. I didn't always look like this, but - that's another story. And - I had a code name? It's Beast.

[a pause]

Wait, you have humans with powers in your world?

mutants are caused through genetics? ok where did the original gene started? was it a mutation that was caused to one mutant?

[ groaning as if he were shot ]

You gotta be kidding me. the Beast? no way. we're finding something better, buddy. you can't be the Beast.

[ not approved ]

there are some, yeah. Uh. as far as we know, it's not a genetic thing.

[ thank god, in some cases ]

they were created by something that happened in my world some time ago.

It's genetic, yes. [never before has he so desperately wanted his research in front of him. And Charles'. He'd have to direct Charles and Cisco to each other at some point] In my time, we don't know where it originated, but it's theorized that the nuclear age is what caused it to become more widespread.

[he. Makes a face. No don't Cisco please]

Sorry, but I think it's sticking. Confirmed by the future, though nobody actually calls me that. [unless they're Logan, so far]

And - okay, we - when you're shuffled, can we meet up and discuss this in person? I'd love to hear more about your meta-humans.

man, that would make sense. I guess if metahumans passed their abilities to their children, we'd be in the same situation.

you realize we could come up with a better one, right? I mean, whoever names people on your earth, needs to start doing a better job.

Mmm. I've only seen that here, though - uh, mutants who've had the mutation passed down from mutant parents.

[he quirks a half-smile]

We sort of came up with the code names ourselves. You'd have to take it up with Alex if you have a complaint - he's the one who gave me the name.

If anyone fits that description, it's me. No - he's not here, and - his power is energy blasts anyway. And I doubt he cares that much about the code name that he'll do anything.
