[ In her broadcast, Kara is in her PJs, hair down and glasses off. She looks like she just woke up not too long ago and the overall vibe is very "confessional vlog". She doesn't seem distressed, just a little confused, and tired—though her eternal optimism is always there somewhere. ]

Hey, so, question: On a scale from "wow that's super weird we've never heard of something like that" to "it must be a Wednesday on the Fleet", how common is it to just like, get a bunch of "new" information from home? Which, now that I think about it, is kind of a dumb thing to ask because we have implants that give us job skills training. But I'm just wondering. Uh, in the abstract? Something like that.

Anyway, I'm going to go get some coffee and food because I'm starving. Who knew that sleeping was such hard work?

I guess that's one way to solve a problem... I'm sorry. Were you ever close to them?

Yeah. I was close to Astra on Krypton... we spent a lot of time together, and I admired her greatly. I believe she and my mother were close before their... differences in opinions.

What kind of differences were they? [It sounds like it could have been pretty extreme?]

Krypton... it died because we overmined the core. Astra knew this, and my mother refused to hear it.

That...doesn't sound like the start of genocidal tendencies.

I don't know all the details. But Astra and Non were sent to prison—my mother was the chief judicator—and the prison came to Earth with me from the Phantom Zone.

I mean, my parents have had better ideas. But yes.

They're all aliens, and not all had power under Krypton's sun. Astra and Non, like me, were equivalent to humans.

So, it must have been easy for them to break out with a crash landing or suddenly having powers that weren't accounted for. That's a lot to deal with. I guess you couldn't as a kid though.

That's what the DEO is for, and my cousin was already established by the time we got there.

I am a very good door opener. [And maybe something about the hug after the door was opened prompts her to put an arm around Kara.] Except when I ignore them completely and just walk through.

I am not sure. But if it doesn't it will probably not work right away instead of getting you half phased into something you have to stay in forever. [Sorry, her power is pretty gruesome in some regards.]
