[ winn really would just love to know where the hidden cameras are - because then he could avoid them - but also because it really is feeling like their lives are perfectly synced with a tv model. he makes a joke about vampires - and next thing you know, he meets one. at this point, he considers trying completely nonsensical chatter, just to test the theory, to see if this show will let it stand.

but not right now. because right now - he spots kara in the kitchen, and he never wants to waste his time with her. smiling, he walks right up to her, peeking over her shoulder. ]

If I knew, I'd tell you.

[ she holds up a spoon of... some sort of textured protein and offers it to him over her shoulder ]

It's not bad.

[ he gives her a suspicious look. ]

You sure about that?

[ but ok, he'll take a bite. he's actually kind of starving, he's been getting lost in his work again and without a mountain of snacks to surround himself with he turns to the other extreme and forgets to eat. ]

I think we really need pizza around here.

[ seriously if you're going to kidnap them at least feed them something normal! ]

[ she toes the other chair out with her foot, inviting him to sit ]

We really do need pizza.

[ he gives her a quick hug - because while he may not know what's been going on with her, he knows kara well enough to know when she needs one by now - and sinks into it and stuffs another spoonfull of unidentified space food in his mouth. ]

Maybe the next planet'll have some.

[ gotta hold on to hope, right? because he's starting to think getting home will be quicker than figuring out how to make real food out of what they have. ]

[ he feels bad, that he's not one of those people trying to help the moon, but he has enough on his plate. he's not a hero for a reason, he wants to help the people dearest to him first. ]

I've heard about him, but haven't met him yet - does he know how his powers work, what exactly charges him up?

[ it probably wouldn't be the same, but it might give them ideas where to look! ]
