That's great! I haven't gotten to try out the handling on the Caprine yet, but if it's anything like the Golden, we've got some work to do. These things handle like drunk snorbals and are twice as slow.

Mammal as big as one of the shuttles, two trunks, doesn't really care about anything because it's the biggest thing around. Can't be bothered to move.

Ahhhh, I gotcha! Hmmmm I know we can get an upgrade to make the shuttles a little bigger and a little faster, but I dunno if it'll improve the steering or not.

[Thank goodness for being friends with Rainbow Dash, who's pretty much a pony!Blue Angel at this point. Knowing flying vocan helps out a lot.]

Faster is a start. If there isn't a set upgrade to make 'em steer better, there's got to be something we can do with engineering or tuning them. Come on, Pinkie. Let's soup these things up.

Hell yeah! Here, let's go for a test flight first, and I can talk you through what I'm looking for.

[Off to the shuttles they go! Both of them are really tiny, even with Pinkie's presence on the ship making them two-seaters, and the Pinkie-sized cargo space.]

[He's just gonna assume that Pinkie can get herself situated and safely strapped in.]

Okay, so let's take this boat out...

[He's very deft at getting them out of the cargo bay. Something something best pilot something. Once they're a safe distance from the ship, he'll open up the engines as much as they'll go.]

So right here, the acceleration on these things is... not good. I know they're not meant for speed, but good luck trying to get away from anything that might be after us...

Turning radius ain't great but we might be stuck with it just because of how big this is and the engine configuration. But did you feel that? We kind of slipped. Something's not quite in alignment between the drives and the dampeners I think.

Yup, definitely don't want drive and dampeners to do that...

You got it. How about a quick inertia change-- [Melodramatic space ship acting!] You feel that vibration? Dunno what that is, but we better find out. [Poe, for god's sake, no one uses the shuttles like this. It's like he's trying to break it. (He kind of is.)]

That's a good start. Then we'll see how much more we can soup these things up. Good engineer and good pilot, right? We'll make a great team. [He is still flying the shuttle like a crazy person. Because that's what he thinks is fun.]
