I do favor butterflies, myself. They are very pretty and they look so wonderful when sewn upon a dress. Can you imagine a dress in pale lilac with silver butterflies? that would be sweet, would it not?

fireflies are lovely as well but I do find that their effect will be impossible to capture on fabric.

Oh I would love to wear it. Can you imagine? wear it to a dance at night and no one would look at any other lady, not even if said lady were their own wife.
