[She steps aside to let the other lead her to wherever their bathroom is.]

I do not know that I am that brave. Were my brothers to see me like this, they would think I'd certainly gone entirely mad here.

[ she smiles as she leads her to the bathroom ]

[ she obeys her without much of a fuss, sitting down and letting her hair slide into the sink. she's not nervous, not truly, at worst, they'll cut away the ends and be done with it. if anything, it's wonderfully exciting. ]

Do you have someone who helps you when you dye yours?

Nah.

[Lalala flipping hair into the sink and doing things with bleach that I can't even pretend to describe.]

Mom helped me the first few times but I've done it so much now i could probably dye it in my sleep.
