[She's still thinking about some of the other things they talked about though. Finally, she lifts herself up on an arm to better look at him.] But there is something you should know about me. If someone is in danger I'm going to jump in to try and help even if that puts me in danger too.

[ and maybe it's the hour, or letting go of the nerves, or the ridiculousness of that statement, or all of the above plus some other stuff - but he can't help but break into laughter, throwing one hand over his eyes to pinch the bridge of his nose. ]

[She wasn't expecting that and it definitely distracts her from any weirdness she might have started to feel from the statement itself. Though even the moment of it reminded her of how weird it must have been for him to hear about Reid. Kitty has definitely wondered and worried over the possibility of Kara waking up one day with memories of home that tell her she ended up in love with Winn after all. Hell, she's even lightly considered her realizing it her in the fleet. That might have been part of why she was okay with Kara and Hank when there was a Kara and Hank to consider.]

There's a guy on the Blameless named The Stalker. Yes, that's his actual name somehow. He's an assassin. [Which begs the question why isn't his name The Assassin?] And he wants to kill a member of my crew—Tenno. Apparently, he isn't above hurting other people on the way to him.

They should all know now, but initially I didn't want to just call them since he's their communications officer, so I was telling people as I could make arrangements to see them in person. Hank and Leto knew first. I was trying to set up telling Kate, but it's more in the open now. Wrath made a call to their ship about him after he called us to warn us about the murderer on board.

Tenno and Ordis transferred on board the same time Kurt did. [About a month ago? More?] They're from the same world. Ordis is actually a ship's intelligence that the Atroma put in a humanoid form which is...weird. I really haven't talked to either of the much. Tenno was the one Wrath called cute. [You remember.] He's the one marked for assassination. Not too long after that The Stalker arrived and we had a ship-wide meeting about him. That's where I found out about his strengths and weaknesses [because that's what she asked about] I started working on setting up meetings with people I knew well on the Blameless after that. [She didn't hear about Tenno and The Stalker running into each other at the masquerade] Then really recently The Stalker called and...

[She reaches over for her communicator and scrolls through before just handing it over.] Then Kurt set up a private call just to the Blameless and I'm not sure exactly what Wrath said but she was not happy.

[ after watching through everything quietly with a serious expression, he rolls to the side, and picks up the phone cisco made for him, before getting up. ]
