I'm all right it's just... all this Stalker stuff, I figure I better tell you - if the worst happens and he gets Tenno, you gotta get Tenno's body and you gotta bring him to me or get me to him because I can save him. I've got the power of resurgence, resurrection, whatever you wanna call it: I can bring him back from the dead, as long as I got a body and as long as his soul hasn't crossed over.

I mean, I hope it don't come to that, because it's awful to die, I know. Done it twice before myself. But just... just in case.

He's silent for a long moment; that certainly hadn't been something that had even crossed his mind as a possibility. When he speaks, it's slowly as he's still thinking about it.]

Is there a way for someone else to tell if the soul has passed over? Must the body be in a certain condition?

What kind of time frame is that? Within an hour, ten minutes, or...?

Another witch could tell maybe, but I don't think y'all could. And there's no strict rules about when people go, varies from person to person. Usually though, if you're murdered, your soul don't cross as quickly as it does if you just die from old age or cancer or something. I don't bring those people back - when it's your time, it's your time, and people who fight that too much get themselves in a lot of trouble. It's people that go before they're supposed to that I help and I'd say this sure as hell would count.

[She pauses. What was the other question? Oh right.]

As long as the body's in more or less one piece, I can fix 'em. Just might take longer, dependin' how bad the injuries are.

[That's fair enough, and he nods. He hadn't really expected to be able to tell, but one never knows.]

[Usually Vision would be right about a cost, but in this case, there is none - except for the stigma that comes with being a necromancer.]

There's not a cost, not how you're probably thinkin' - most of the time you got to trade something, a little bit of your own life for theirs or you gotta trade your soul to Papa Legba, but that ain't it with mine. That's what makes it so rare.

[It's why they thought she was the Supreme, when clearly, that ain't the case at all.]

[He displays some actual surprise at that.]

I had pictured something along those lines, yes. It is doubly impressive, in that case.

But this other kid - he accidentally saw me reviving some of the fish, on the moon, and I don't know about him.

[His eyes soften when Misty calls them her People. There are some who have trouble accepting that he's a person at all.]

That's a good point. Hopefully it'll stay that way. I think he said his name was Robb? I don't remember for sure.

[Then she remembers something else! Nothing bad though.]

And Castle! He knows. He was feeling all bad and worried about bein' dead so 'course I had to help him.

I'll look into "Robb" and see what can be found. Wrath has an excellent point, however.

[His expression softens into a smile.]
