[Good questions.]

As you're no doubt aware, most things can be tampered with. However, analog records are easier to place security on. For example, writing in a diary, printing photographs, and the like. Digital measures are far more convenient, but susceptible to alteration; Kurt can at least give one layer of encryption above whatever you're accustomed to, if you'd like to use them regardless.

[If by "cephalon" Ordis means a form of AI, Vision feels confident in answering that.] Not that I've been able to detect. It's very likely the Marsiva has one, however; these ships follow it as drones and cannot leave its range.

I maintain the shields as Engineer. We're capable of withstanding a fair amount of kinetic damage and a great deal of energy blasts; I'll send the specifications to your communicator.

Encryption is a good beginning for digital records, as are keeping them on isolated servers or devices.

[He taps his fingers on the nearest hard surface thoughtfully.]

A paper diary may be best for what you're describing, however.

Look for one with a plastic cover; they should be common on the planet, as it's cheaper than organic material. The vermin aren't attracted to plastics.

You're most welcome, Ordis.
