[Words are difficult and everything is so very jumbled. Better now that Wrath has done so much good, but jumbled nonetheless.]

Officer Wrath. Operator.

[pain_train]

[Very, very calm.] Yes, Ordis. Like I told you. Ship security hasn't been compromised. Tenno's fine. Can you focus on your duties now?

[tennohno]

Don't rush him. [It takes a moment after for a quick addition.] Please.

[The last time Ordis had been this jarred was coming out of whatever the Stalker had done to him to get onto their ship. Being contacted by the same man probably wasn't doing the cephalon any good after such an experience though he's thankful Wrath has done so much good. There was no screaming.

But something was still off. So he walks over for Ordis to get a better look.]

No injuries. He's not here. I will not be abandoning you. I promised, did I not?

[cephalon]

[Every little bit helps; from Wrath's calm to the sheer fact he's able to see that his Operator isn't damaged, it does wonders for his nerves. Neither is a complete fix, but it's a good start.]

Ordis will maintain current trajectory of the ship, systems appear to be nominal.

[Focus, he's being given orders, focus.]

The Operator...has not left.

[pain_train]

[The look Wrath gives Tenno is one of cold warning: don't you fucking talk to me like that on my bridge. But she's only thinking it, not saying it. She's really not looking to throw Ordis isn't another round of hysterics.

Still, her voice is that same, measured, soothing and self-assured tone:] Very good, Ordis. Thank you. Keep me apprised of the situation as we continue.

[tennohno]

[Stiffening at the look thrown his way, he glances away before backing off and turning away to leave. Wrath had everything under control. He was redundant and unnecessary so there was no use to have him remain around.

He's only serving as a distraction anyway.]

[cephalon]

Ordis will-

[Wait, wait no, where is the Operator going? Is the Operator leaving? Leaving him behind? That thought alone inspires a whole new wave of panic, and his words die off in a choked, quiet noise of distress as he whips his head in the tenno's direction.]

Operator?

[This situation is a clusterfuck. Showing her annoyance is not going to accomplish anything. But she has deep concerns now, about Ordis's level of dependency. If Tenno ever leaves and Ordis remains, her pilot would be non functional at this rate. Of course, she's not thrilled by having this all dropped back into her lap this instant, but it's her job to deal with this, she supposes. If Tenno wants to run off, she's not going to order him to remain. It's not a fruitful discussion to have in front of Ordis at this moment, at the very least.]

[Still very calm.] Tenno sometimes has his own duties that require his attention, Ordis. That may be where he is going now.

[Going to leave that open for interpretation. But she's certainly projecting that she's in control of the situation because arguments are really not going to help.]

[He's nearly at the door when he halts at the noise, turning enough to give acknowledgement of the question. Sure he had plenty of duties that would require his attention and they properly should be done sooner rather than later. However that's a secondary duty right now compared to the pressing matter that is the cephalon.

So he turns on his heels and walks back to Ordis' side. He leans down to press a soft kiss onto his forehead.]

I'm yours and here.

[cephalon]

[Oh. Right. Duty. He's used to duty, used to listening in on comlinks and watching from afar in the liset. This is...this is the same, isn't it? It's hard to convince himself.]

Duties. Ah, yes. Ordis knows-

[But his Operator is there, and perhaps it's terribly selfish of him but he's apt to drink in all the attention he's given.]

Ship status. Ordis is to monitor the ship status.

[pain_train]

Yes, Ordis. That is your job when you are on duty.

[Yeah, this is going to be a problem. However, she is not going to make it a problem right now. It's not the kind of thing best dealt with DI-style, it's more of an officer-type situation. So at this point, Wrath's going to resume her own task and not interject herself in unless spoken to..]

[tennohno]

[He doesn't offer much affection asides from the quick kiss but he sticks by the cephalon's side with his arms folded behind his back. This was easy enough to maintain both proximity as well as not disturb Ordis any further from his work. Best not earn more looks from Wrath such as the one earlier.]

Ship status is nominal, Officer. Slight lag in the second engine that perhaps needs attending to by skilled personnel, but it should not be threatening.

[Think. Think and work through the charts and the data. This isn't the Lotus but it's someone requesting things, and his Operator is safe and that's what's most important. The ship. He can tend to the ship.]
