[If anyone ever had a doubt that Tyrion Lannister likes to keep himself occupied, today would be the day that he put all doubts to rest. His fingers flick against the side of his camera as he is reaching for a book. Which is good, because he's got three open now. He frowns at one paragraph, then pushes off with his chair - with wheels, fascinating things these.

Then he was picking up a screwdriver, turning to a tank that looked a great deal like the displays at the Green Museum, twisting a brace into place, eying it, then rolling back across the floor to check on the panels for the engine. He picked up a clipboard, put down the screwdriver and exchanged it for pencil while he marked off a few things on a list, then pushed himself off to roll back to his desk, where he flipped a page on his second book, muttering quietly to himself.]

[He tapped the page, then pushed off again to his work-table, where a variety of weapons were lying on the surface, and plucked up the bow.] Yes, all right, that means I just need to change the density of the string and curve the bow a little more for the right amount of pressure per inch... good, good.

[He hummed as he put the bow back down, and reached underneath for his toolbox, singing softly to himself as he went through the varying strings he had gathered for said bow.]

[Clearly, Tyrion is something of a workaholic, when he gets himself going.]

This feels like a trick question now. More than one husband.

Yes, you are rather a one woman man, I think. More than one husband would probably make you ever so slightly maddened.

[She smiles softly. They haven't spent a lot of time together, but he seems to know her well.] One can seem like more than enough sometimes. What about you? Think you could handle multiples? I'd guess no.

I would be impressed with myself if I could get one woman to marry me. Two or three just seems like I would be begging for trouble.

Practice makes perfect? And you did get one woman to marry you. [It just went horribly.]

[tallasaking]

Yes, let us see if I can get one to marry me now.

[passingthrough]

From what I can see anyone would be lucky to be with you.

[tallasaking]

Women keep saying that to me ... and then not marrying me. [His eyes crinkled.] Do you see the discrepancy?

[passingthrough]

Fair complaint. But also not single.

[tallasaking]

Well, find me a single young lady and we'll see if your theory holds any water.

[passingthrough]

So demanding. Are you in that much of a hurry? [As if she is someone to talk about that of all things.]

[tallasaking]

Well, not to get married. [He gave her a sunny smile.] But for everything else?

[passingthrough]

I am very innocent and delicate. I don't think I should be around such implications.

[tallasaking]

[... and now, he is just going to laugh. Because, come on, Kitty.]

[passingthrough]

Not buying it? [Smiles at him and takes a seat on a stool next to him. She reaches out to take his hand.] You're going to find someone for all of the things.

[tallasaking]

We shall see. [He squeezes her hand in his, smiling at her.] For now, I have some very dear friends.

[passingthrough]

Me? Is it me? [Teasing, but also smiling back at him.]

[tallasaking]

Mmm, anyone who flies from their ship to mine just to hug me should earn that title, don't you think?

[passingthrough]

Yes, and possibly a ribbon or plaque or trophy of some kind. [Joking.] Or the hug could be the reward.

[tallasaking]

[He tilts his head at her, before he grinned and lifted himself up off the chair. He hobbled his way over to his work-bench, eyed the metal he had available. Then he twisted one piece of metal, to put atop a metal base and solder the two together.

Then he held it out to her.] There. The Tyrion Lannister award for being an Excellent Friend. See, it is twisted like my stubby legs.

[passingthrough]

[She looks over curiously as he gets to work. Her expression as he hands it do her is somewhere between amused and genuinely touched. Not quite a slinky, but it's up there.] I don't know what to say when you say things like that about yourself, so I'm just going to hug you again.

[tallasaking]

[He looked up at her, with a faint little smile. Then he opened his arms.] Please, feel free to hug me as much as you'd like.

[passingthrough]

[Oh, she will! She gets down from the chair and wraps her arms around him. It's a little odd with the height difference, but given all the various mutants she's hugged over the years she's used to...variety.] You're very sweet. [She kisses his cheek too before releasing him and straightening back up.]

I expect to see my reward for Excellent Friend, soon enough. [He pressed his lips together, grinning.]
