[Nami sighs. But if he can see in the dark-- she sits down a little awkwardly on the nearest chair (she can't see) and smiles at him ruefully.]

I'm sorry I turned the lights on. I didn't know.

I'm gonna go get our resident doctor. You okay with that?

[ He'll turn to where he hears her, blinking wen though it does no good for the moment. He's surprised by her offer for help, because...well. He'll heal. No need to bother with him. His head will stop feeling like it's being bludgeoned eventually. ]

Oh...um. Okay.

[Even if she knew he'd heal, there's no reason to keep subjecting him to the same pain over and over. Sascha's surrounded by far too many people who need and enjoy light. It's not fair on him to get blindsided by others just going through their normal day.]

Be back soon. [She feels her way to the door, then pauses on a thought.] Hey, do vampires benefit from painkillers?

I don't know. [ He's going to rub a spot on his temple now, don't mind him. ]

I've never seen any take some before.

Worth a shot, then. [She can't see that anyway.]

I'm opening the door now. Brace yourself. [For the small bit of light she lets in as she lets herself out. Be right back with a doctor!

[ HE PROBABLY WILL, THANKS. His head's pounding something awful by now, eyes watering and just. The moment she's gone he sinks back on the floor with an exhale of relief because he doesn't have to hide his discomfort and pain with her gone--and he's in a lot of it. ]

[And ta-da, the resident doctor is soon there, as promised, medkit in hand.]

Sascha? What's the matter?

[ Yaaay doctor♥ Except oww, doctor. That's light from outside and sound inside that Sascha isn't quite prepared to deal with, an unhappy sound escaping him as he cracks his eyes open...uselessly. He still can't see herp. ]

...Simone?

[ Simone, Simon. He was close. ]

[Nami slinks in behind Simon and finds her way to a seat again because she's NOSY. ...or actually concerned. That also works.

Carry on guys, she's just listening.]

[Simon knelt beside the young man, deciding to gently correct him once, then drop it if it kept up, since there were bigger problems going on right now.]

Yes- it's me, Simon. Can you tell me what's wrong?

[ he might notice that when Sascha does look at him, it's not quite at him, and for once endowsnt have his shades on. ]

My head hurts. [ Which is the understatement of the century. ]

[Simon nodded, going through the usual check of feeling for a pulse, taking out a thermometer to measure body temperature- but not sticking it in Sascha's mouth quite yet.]

Did something cause it? Did you injure yourself, or is it a migraine, or did it come from nowhere?

Um...migraine I think. I get them a lot, from light and stuff. [ Any light at all really, what with his pupils permanently dilated. ]

[Simon nodded again, deciding to forego checking Sascha's eyes for that reason, to check for pupil dilation.]

What do you usually do when you have one?

Go to a quiet dark room? [ When...when he isn't fighting it to spend time with people, anyway. ]

Do you take painkillers of any sort, as well?

I've never taken medicine. [ He shakes his head! ]

Hmmm... [Simon thought about that, before reaching into his bag.] Would you like to try? I won't give you anything you don't consent to, but if nothing else, I can at least give you something to help you sleep. Your bunk might be the best place to sleep it off.

But I don't have a bunk... [ That he knows of, anyway. ] I sleep with Bigby. Or Ramse. Or sometimes Obi-wan~

You should have one- everyone on the ship is assigned one. If nothing else, you can lay on the bed in the medbay and I'll turn all of the lights off. ... unless Bigby will let you have his bed.

We sleep on the floor~ [ which he tries to sound happy about, but from the way his shoulders are drawn up tight and he favours one temple that he is indeed in quite a bit of discomfort. ]

[Simon grimaced in sympathy.]

Would you be more comfortable on the floor, then? [As he speaks, Simon is reaching into his medkit and offering a pill for the headache.]

[ Sascha takes it and blinks reflexively (because it certainly doesn't help him see any better) ]

You don't mind....? [ The pill hovers in his hand as he feels over it curiously, then brings it to his lips and swallows. ]

The most important part is making you comfortable, yes, and dimming any lights or anything that make the symptoms worse. Unless a major crisis happens within the next few hours, we'll be fine- and there are other medbays to use in that case.

Well...I'm blind right now♥ So you don't have to worry about the lights. [ Nami already burned away his retinas, IT'S ALL GOOD. ] Lying down sounds nice though...
