[You would think someone was holding Mystique at gun point with the initial look she gave the camera, looking none too happy to be making this broadcast, but a huff of a sigh and roll of her eyes later and she managed to compose herself to a more neutral expression. She of course could fake a more fitting emotion easily, she was well versed in acting a part but since this wasn’t a mission she saw no point in pretending to be something she isn’t. Others would just have to deal with that fact.]

After being in talks with other occupants of our current predicament, it seems the best way to past time here between our semi regular stops is to take up a hobby or something of the likes. And considering I came here with practically nothing, [Not that Mystique needed much, yet she certainly had been missing her weapons until she was on board the Golden and had gotten access to guns again, sating her need to be constantly armed.] And I have been told my typical actions are not the most practical choices here, [There was a pause as she seemed to struggle with saying the next words, as if the entire idea disgusted her.] I would be interested to know what others do as hobbies or to past the time. [That may be the closest to her asking for help that most here are going to get out of her.]

I am willing to swap information. I may not be practiced in more mundane activities but I do have a wide knowledge on more specialized topics if someone wants practice on how to arm and protect themselves.

[at her question he shakes his head; he can understand the concern, or - whatever word would fit better. She didn't react well when he told her why he was the way he was] No, this is something different. Same effect, but - the one I told you about was a one-time thing.

[but he huffs a little, good-natured] That'd be a sight, me trying to use that course like this. I meant while I'm - the other way.

[That, that was good, very good. Mystique would hate to break her word and have to find a painful way to remind Hank not to go messing with her DNA.]

Why not? If you are planning to spend part of your time as, this, [There was barely a pause before she said that word, not pointing out her view again on it, he knew where she stood on it all.] It would be wise to learn how to use this form. The medication you use is time sensitive, it's not like you can turn it off if needed. Is it not better to be prepared in both forms than just one and be left defenseless in the other?

[Another pause, longer than the last. The whole point of her broadcast was to find something to use her time on and it might be reaching too far, but...] I could aid you in training, make it so you don't have to be in your, [A touch of a smirk as she spoke.] 'Winter coat' to do damage or defend yourself if needed.

I can - not switch back and forth, per say, but the serum is overwhelmed by certain things. Emotions. [he is not giving her the same talk he gave his Raven, that is a step beyond too awkward for him] I'm not completely defenseless like this, just . . . muted, in a way.

[and then - he's staring. He can't help it, because she's - offering. Something he doesn't seek out with other people because there's never really been someone else. Not until he got here, anyway] . . . I wouldn't say no? [and she was looking for something to do] I could . . . use the practice.

[There was a sharp nod as he revealed this, as if she was approving of what he said. Not ideal, but at least it didn't leave him completely defenseless.]

I assumed you have done some training with Charles at some point. [Xavier seemed like the type.] I am not claiming to add on to what you might had done via him, nor do I think my form of training would be similar to his, but everyone should know how to fight, powers or not. [After all she could 'cheat', change her body structure to improve her odds during an altercation, but she was still just a person who had to rely mostly on knowledge and practice, not a clearly offensive mutation.]

Mm, early on he helped me out. [back when his mutation wasn't what it was now] I think it would be - worth finding out? I don't think my particular . . . ah, method of fighting would work well like this, even if I'm just defending myself. [no claws, his strength there but muted. He knew how to fight but that wasn't what the training had been about] And I'm not opposed to learning.

Well when you're able to find time in your busy schedule, [A touch of a smile to her lips, half due to there seeming to be limited amount of activities to be done on the ships, but also that no doubt he was like Charles and had found a way to keep himself busy.] We will set something up.

I can always make time. [he kept busy because he had to, being idle didn't suit him and he wouldn't last long] So just let me know when. I'm not doing anything I can't pause.

[A nod of her head as he said that, already going over ideas in her mind of what help she might be able to be with his situation. And a healthy dose of curiosity on what he could do in both forms. This could be very interesting.]

I'll like to get a look at the course and available training area first, but I shall let you know once I am ready.

[he has to wonder exactly what he's getting into, but he also has to admit that he's looking forward to it a little. Most of the training he does do is always in private - it'll be interesting, having someone else there, and especially someone who wants to help him]
