My dear, you're hardly encroaching. I would, however, like to get to know you more-- though I'll admit the motivation is entirely selfish, as I do hate being the only person not in the know, and it seems our shipmates are already acquainted with you.

Mm, I feel just as out of the loop. I was only able to briefly speak to Coil before I... left for a time, and I'm just as excited to know you. [she offers him a smile! Hange made this place feel like a unit, and she wants that feeling to continue and be extended to everyone on this ship]

Of course. I'm a tailor, first and foremost-- it's the most noteworthy thing about me, frankly.

Oh, that's a wonderful skill to have. [hmm...] Have you been able to locate a sewing machine here?

Alas, not yet-- though frankly, I'd be more interested in a bolt of cloth. Sewing by hand kills time, something I have more than enough of right now.

You might be able to make some money by offering your skills to the fleet? I'm sure people have clothes from when they arrived that need mending.

Not to mention I might be able to improve. While the local planets are delightful, their fashions so far have been rather lacking.

Well, I'm certain all planets have their own unique styles and traditions but... you're right.

Oh, by all means. There's nothing wrong with appreciating local fashions-- but one does like to wear what one is most comfortable with, at the end of the day. Frankly, my becoming a tailor was mostly a selfish act-- I lived among other cultures for far too long, and missed Cardassian style clothing.

Some rather unfortunate circumstances forced me to be far from home for a while, my dear, and living among others. Sad, but life is full of such things.
