inquisitor's path 1: well, shit

Who: Jove Lavellan
Broadcast: fleetwide video
Action: the marsiva
When: right now!!

Well.

[It's half breathless, half amused, and said with something of a strained grin. Why does weird shit keep happening to her. At least this time when she's waking up there's no chains around her wrists or incredibly intimidating women shouting questions at her. Her hand aches dimly, but it's nowhere near as bad as she's used to. She must be very far from home if she can't feel any rifts nearby.]

Could someone tell me what year it is? One moment you're jumping through a magical mirror and now here I am in... whatever this is.

I'm fairly certain it's not the Fade and I don't feel particularly dead.

[And then, more quietly,]

Cassandra is going to kill me.

It would be my pleasure. And I am sure you have plenty of tales of your own adventures. A woman who has jumped through a magical mirror can't lead a dull life.

[Well, color him impressed.]

You speak in the plural? And I counted myself fortunate to have survived encounters with only one of the beasts!

[Finrod just... stares for a good long moment in wonder and in awe.]

Dagor Bragollach was the first we saw of them- 'The Battle of Sudden Flame.' Glaurung, the father of dragons, lead the forces of the Enemy. We were no match; many elves fell that day.

To hunt dragon by choice- you are either the most courageous woman I have met or the most mad. [Maybe both]

War is never kind. But thank you for your sympathy.

[And he gives a wane little smile in response to hers] Perhaps one trait requires the other.
