[So we've been stuck on the poison moon for a couple months now, so a lot of people probably want to get away from that.

Unfortunately, the only place you really can get away from it besides your own ship is the Iskaulit. So, here's a June Iskaulit mingle!]

[What's that subtle, near-undetectable thumping sound?

Wait why is he pinned to the wall

Cue Kirito flailing his free arm towards his sword and jerking to the side a little bit too slow. He's still adjusting to his augment upgrades and his stats are still nowhere near as high as they are in the digital world, sadly.]

Whoa!! Where'd that come from!?

[A slightly louder thump, Loki dropping down to the floor. He shimmers into sight, one hand open toward Kirito. The dagger jerks itself out of the target behind him and flies unerringly back to Loki's hand.]

Oh. Kirito. I didn't see you there.

You didn't.

[Kirito tilts his arm to get a look at the damage. Straight through the fabric and right into the wall, but not so much as a scrape to his actual skin. At worst, he'll need to try and mend it later. A needle will cause him more damage than the attack itself.]

So that was just an impressively precise accident?

[He ain't buying it.]

[He waves a hand carelessly at the target.] I hit dead center, did I not? Such a confluence of chance. Lovely.

Yes, we're all very impressed.

[He glances around again, now that he's not under threat of knives. (Hopefully.)]

So what's this place? Some fancy training center?

You and your multiple personalities, yes?

[Keep sassing him, kid, and that might change.]

Not at all fancy. An obstacle course of sorts, I suppose.

[He lives to be a brat, sorry not sorry]

I don't think I've ever been down this hall before. Serves me right for not exploring... this looks like a really good place to work out.

I wasn't particularly looking to make it easy for others to gawk.

[Though he's decided to not be a jerk about people actually using the course, since they often leave interesting little surprises to be incorporated in for use.]

I've found it to be so. A few others have as well, from what I have chanced to observe.

[But gawking is fun.]

Observe... invisibly?

[He's mostly curious. The ability to go unnoticed is one he's always found useful, especially since his SAO days. It's the sort of thing that'll save your life in a pinch.]

Why would I need to?

I doubt it would ever be a matter of "need".

[Considering you were just running the course while invisible for no reason he can discern.]

[He grins briefly.] I suppose the mood might strike on occasion.

But most aren't terribly observant, Kirito. You know this.

Can't deny that, but that just makes you sound like a bit of a creeper.

[He wanders over to the nearest barrier in the course and vaults himself up on top to get a higher vantage point.]

Your the one whose mind immediately jumped to that assumption.

Hey, I'm just saying it sounds weird.

[He's giving the course a little bit of a walkthrough now, just to check it out.]

Mmm. It is terribly weird of me to stand about in my own course and be thoroughly ignored by those using it.

If they didn't ignore you, wouldn't that mean your hiding skill wasn't up to snuff? I'd be more annoyed by that, but that's just me.

Only if I were trying to hide. Why ought I be annoyed if I have failed to do something I am not actually doing?

I was only talking about if you were lurking around all invisible! If people don't notice you otherwise, that's their problem.

I suppose if I had been, but as I haven't been... [He shrugs.] I am merely very... quiet, when it suits me.

[He's already digging the course. It's pleasantly challenging?? Just gonna pick up the pace a little.]

I used to be able to hide myself when I needed to. It's kind of a relief to be out of sight unless you want to be noticed.

[Heh.]

I spent a good deal of time reading, in my youth. It was very useful to go unnoticed.

Reading is a criminal offense or something?

[What an odd thing to specify.]

Warriors have better things to do with their time, presumably. Thumping each other in the head and poking innocent creatures with sharpened sticks.

As an aspiring warrior, I can admit that that's true, but books have their uses.

[Some of them even teach you better thumping and poking methods!]
