[So we've been stuck on the poison moon for a couple months now, so a lot of people probably want to get away from that.

Unfortunately, the only place you really can get away from it besides your own ship is the Iskaulit. So, here's a June Iskaulit mingle!]

...What about a pipe? Up until we left, he never went anywhere without that thing.

True, but that's more a Gramps thing than a lightning thing. Unless Gramps is the only lightning seraph? Come to think of it, I've never even heard of any others... [not even in the Celestial Record, which is odd. everything's in there!]

I haven't either... Gramps never mentioned specifics, but considering the rest of the continent was so focused on the main four elements, they must be incredibly rare.

[It wouldn't surprise him if that was the case. Gramps is old, older than anyone they know, and he's unique in a lot of ways.]

Well there are a few of those, right? Man, I wish there was more information on seraphim! Even in all the ruins we've found, there are hardly any records...

With malevolence as prevalent as it is, there probably wasn't any other way. Even small villages are dangerous, right?

But that's okay. We're going to fix that. And after a few years of seraphim and humans living in the same places together, humans will start developing resonance again.

[It's such a ridiculously daunting task, and dealing with Heldalf will be hard enough as it is. But hey, it is Sorey they're dealing with, and he just sort of does things whether it's plausible or not.]

Sometimes. [And it's true. Maybe it's because the seraphim see into people's hearts, but he always feels a little weird when people praise him just for being him. Though maybe 'stubborn enough to change things' isn't usually praise, it definitely is in Mikleo-speak.]

[People praise him when it's a welcome change from the norm. Humans in their world are kind of garbage more often than not, so the shining stars stand out.]

Well, alright then. I guess we'll all be helping here and there, since you're kind of a mess without us.

That's very true. [Heck, there's a reason he built that shrine in the first place. Being without Lailah and Edna and Rose is incredibly hard, especially since a lot of the time it feels like he's the baby of the group instead of the leader.

...wait, he is, isn't he? Ah geez.] And I don't like how the legend of the Shepard always extols everything the Shepard did without even mentioning the squires or seraphim. Would you change that with your book, Mikleo? Make sure even hundreds of years from now, people know that the Shepard couldn't do anything without everyone else?

Oh, trust me, I'm going to tell it like it is. I won't spare a single detail.

...that sounds awfully mischievous, Lord Mikleo. Couldn't you just write a mildly flattering book that's kind to all of us?

That would be deceptive. Didn't you hear Lailah say that lying to yourself and others can generate malevolence? Honesty is always better.

So are you going to write about that one time you got stuck upside-down in that tree and your shirt flipped up over your head, and you cried because everybody could see your belly button?

That was a very informative moment for me growing up I'll have you know.

I felt so bad for you. I couldn't even help you get down and you were so upset afterwards.

Of course I was upset! Seraphim aren't even born in the first place, we don't need one! I probably only have it because of you!
