VIDEO
[ The video starts suddenly, with Caitlin sitting straight up, eyes open and wide with fear.TEXT
More than what's warranted with waking up in a strange place.
Her head bows, her eyes going directly to her wrists. It seems she's checking both of them, rubbing absently at them, as if she expected to find something. (Shackles or handcuffs, that's what she's looking for.) If she's reassured there's nothing there, she certainly doesn't look it. When she looks back up, her gaze sweeping around the room, she's trying to place where she is, what's happened. This isn't Barry's lab at CCPD, it isn't STAR Labs, and it definitely isn't Zoom's lair.
It's a few minutes before she looks right into the camera, her head tilting with curiosity. ] Hello?
[ Then the feed cuts out. ]
[ The text follows about ten minutes later. ]
This is going to sound odd, but: whoever or whatever brought me here, thank you. I need to get back to Central City, though.

I'm really going to miss my kitchen, aren't I?
text;
You're really going to miss it.
text;
Good that I'm forewarned, then. I can do my mourning now.
text;
Enjoy the food up there first. Then mourn.
text;
I can do both at the same time. Multitask.
text;
Good point. I can only encourage that.
text;
It'll keep me occupied until something else comes along.
text;
That's true. I know there's files on the network too that will help pass the time.
text;
Files. I guess Netflix would be too much to hope for?
text;
Probably not? I don't know what a Netflix is.
text;
Netflix is a monthly subscription streaming media service. Movies, TV shows, original programming, all available on demand.
text;
Oh - that sounds a little familiar. I think someone may have explained it briefly.
text;
Spoilers for the future. From your point in the timeline, there's still cable and satellite TV and those monopolies that go with it. That's about 20 years or so, while internet speeds for the average consumer are brought up to required download/upload speeds for streaming.
Sorry. Apparently I ramble in text form, too.
text;
You're talking to someone who tends to ramble, too. I don't mind.
text;
Good. Thanks.
text;
No problem. What's your name? I'm Hank McCoy.
text;
Nice to meet you, Hank. I'm Caitlin Snow.
text;

text;
We're on the same ship. He's said nothing but good things about you.
text;
I've heard he's been talking about me. I'm sure he's embellished some.
text;
I don't know about that, it seems to line up with everything you've told me so far.
text;
Cisco's really the brag-worthy one.
text;
I'd say you're both pretty brag-worthy.
text;
It's a nice thought. Really, thought, Cisco designs and builds all the tech, he's the eyes and ears to the Flash's legs. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without him.
