[ Sascha has Learned His Lesson.

One doesn't simply hop into someone's bed while their sleeping and/or naked, because the results in getting kicked in the face. And yelled at a whole lot. No...what one should do is knock first!

...And then hop into their bed while they're asleep.

Lesson. Totally. Learned.

But really let's face it, this guy is an idiot and he most certainly is going to meander around over the course of the month and find those nice, comfy warm beds of yours, Fleeters. SO TRY NOT TO SMACK HIM TOO HARD, he could become even more dumb if you do.

At least he does this with the best intentions right? ]

[ But not for long. Sascha may not recognize Anders' scent, but he sure as heck knows a comfy, healthy-smelling individual when he sees one! Which is why, when he moves to rub his eyes? He'll feel arms looping around his shoulders from behind as Sascha latches on with a happy, completely oblivious: ]

[Anders goes tense and still and there's a momentary stirring in his chest where he nearly lashes out with a well-placed fire spell, but clamps down on the feeling. He was not being threatened, he was being hugged. Not a familiar sensation, sadly, but not a bad one.]

Hi...that's probably the most friendly greeting I've ever received. All the same, what are you doing here?

[He didn't look injured...also it seemed fairly late and Sascha seemed faily awake.]

[ Definitely not injured, and even if he was? He'd recover on his own given enough time. Aside from the silly yellow-tinted UV shades on his face and the slightly cooler feel to his skin there's nothing out of the ordinary about him. ]

....Saying hi! [ gosh Anders, that should be obvious! ]

Why aren't you asleep like most sensible people and instead barging into places with hugs?

[So, not him and not Sascha, apparently.]

'Cause it's lonely late at night! Everyone's asleep and they get mad when I wake them up... [ Except Kitty and Winn so far, but tey are also incredibly accommodating to him.

[It should bother him, it should be an invasion of his personal space, instead he finds he doesn't mind it near as much as all that. Attention starved was a word Karl had affectionately used in regards to Anders once. He'd hated it, but he couldn't deny it was likely true on some level.

So here he is simply letting Sascha do whatever.]

Ah, well, you're in luck. I have a bad habit of not sleeping overly much. Except when I do, then I'll sleep for the whole day, but that's not common. We could make a club! A late-nighters club.

What about you? Why aren't you sleeping?

[ His acceptance actually reminds Sascha a bit of Obi-wan, who also had chosen to just allow the contact rather than shove or push him off. It's nice, and more importantly encouraging, and Sascha's mood lifts for it. ]

I don't sleep at night♥ [ he is a true Night Owl. ] I'm aaaalways awake at this time.

[Anders tilts his head, more to try and look at Sascha rather than dislodge him.]

Yup! The light reeeeeally hurts my eyes, so I sleep when the sun's out. [ Except for, you know. Space. ]

How strange. I can't imagine it's much of a problem out here.

Is it caused by something? I am a healer, after all, fixing people is sort of what I do. On occasion at least.

My eyes are always dilated? So if there's any light at all they get super-sore. And damaged and stuff. Sunlight's super-bad for us.

I mean, certainly more so than a Qunari does. Your eyes are a little strange, but elves back home have huge eyes, I thought perhaps you just had some non-human blood of some kind, it's not unheard of.

[ Oh, Anders. He could kiss you for not being horrified or hateful of him and just plain confused. That's so much better. ]

It...um. None of that? It means I drink blood from people and animals and stuff.

How strange, I can't imagine blood tastes good but, then I don't eat figs either because they're gross, so there's that.

[He does look concerned for a moment, but more for Sascha.]

Honestly, it sounds a little like blood magic. You're not dabbling in that, are you? It usually leads to bad things.

...You can do magic with blood??? [ Nope, pretty safe to say he has not been dabbling in blood magic. More than likely he'd lick all the blood and forget the magic entirely if given the chance to try it. Also: not a fan of cutting himself. ]

Not me personally, but some can, yes. I wouldn't recommend it, honestly.

[A pause.]

Is that why you asked if Pounce would like monsters? Is that what you think you are?

....Yeah? [ Back home he would be considered one for sure. But also animals in general can't handle being around him; they can tell what he really is in a way humans can't, and it kicks them into flight mode. ]

Ah, well, suit yourself, but you're hardly monstrous to me. I fight and kill scary monster things for a living these days, you don't make the cut, sorry.

[He shrugs lightly so as not to jostle Sascha who seemed very intent on this position of theirs, but his voice was cheery.]

[He liked Oghren, after all, so not much account for taste, that cat.]
