[While Pinkie has Poe distract Finn for most of the day, this little party pony's hard at work making this the best (and only) birthday this ex-Storm Trooper's ever had! As advertised, the whole ship is decorated bow to stern with streamers and lights and balloons. There's music throughout all the speakers, dancing and games on the bridge, and SO MANY TREATS in the kitchen. There's mild and spicy nachos, salsa, cubes of spiky blue fruit that tastes like cantaloupe, candy, and HUGE birthday cake made from as many real ingredients as Pinkie could get her hooves on. There's also a HUGE punch bowl with Pinkie's best punch recipe, and pre-poured cups of what looks like some blue fizzy milkshake. Knock yourselves out, guys, and help Finn have the best birthday ever since the First Order is made of jerks!]

[How did she even--he should be able to sense someone sneaking up on him, sheesh. But after a brief stagger he identifies his assailant and keys down his combat mode, so luckily Pinkie doesn't get flipped to the floor.]

Aw, shucks! I knew I had to pull out ALL the stops for your very first birthday ever!

[That's because she's a very good-hearted pony. Finn gives her a quick hug.]

So what all do we got? Give me the rundown.

[One grand tour, coming up! She leads him to every station on the ship in a... ridiculously short amount of time, it seems, skipping and humming when she's not gesturing and talking.]

The bridge is our dancing and game room... I've got ALL the streamers and dancey music I could get my hooves... I made all SORT of snacks and sweets and drinks, I recreated that milkshake recipe you like with ice cream and the spikyloupes, aaaaand there's a birthday caaaake~

[The idea of dancing would make him nervous, but he'd figured out at the masquerade that all he had to do was follow a set footwork pattern - no different at all from combat training, and he'd learned a few new lightsaber forms since then to boot. So he should be okay for that part.

As they get to the milkshakes, he grabs one and tastes it.]

All right, now I bet you taste-tested all the snacks first, so which one's the best?

Hee, what's NOT the best snack?! We've got some mild nachos for you since the hot sauce was a bit much last time, mild, medium, and hot salsa, some spikyloupe cubes, and I made some candy and chocolates~!

[He laughs, because it's true. Pinkie's idea of pleasantly hot is more like insanity sauce.]

Mild sounds about my speed. How's the chocolate? I've only had the chocolate-flavored gel stuff.

Pretty good, if I do say so myself~ The dry-solid chocolate melts down kinda like regular chocolate bars, the liquid-gel makes a good chocolate sauce when you heat it up, and the powder's great for flavoring and sprinkling!

What would you use the sauce for?

[Because he has a feeling it would be good on meat-flavored things, but he can't exactly tell her that.]

[Dude no. Even if she WASN'T a lacto-ovo-vegetarian, you can't just pour chocolate sauce on meat and call it good. At least not with non-bacon meats. At least make it into a mole or something first.]

You can pour it on top of ice cream, or stir it into milk to make it CHOCOLATE milk, or to make your hot chocolate extra-chocolately, or to drizzle over the whipped cream or marshmallows or BOTH on top, or--

[Might wanna grab a food, this might take a while.]

Oh that's not true, it goes GREAT with cheese! Especially fondue! And caramel's really salty too and I LOVE it with chocolate, especially in ice cream!

[The mild ones, he's not crazy.]

What's fondue?

[Sounds suspicious.]

[True, but he could've been grabbing them while still looking at Pinkie and picked some spicy ones up by accident. ~~Darn it all.~~

And she only lets out a LITTLE gasp because she's no longer surprised at how horrible Finn's life is if he doesn't even have a birthday.]

You don't know what fondue is?!

[He shakes his head, still munching.]

Nope. Another kind of food?

Oh my gosh, we HAVE to have fondue night. It's cheese and herbs melted in this BIG pot on the table and put veggies and bread on sticks and dip them in, and then you can have CHOCOLATE fondue for dessert where you dip all sorts of fruit and sweets in!

The chocolate we could probably do. And one of the protein flavors is cheddar. But we'd have to be real careful to get it to melt right.

[He likes the idea, though.]

We could probably get it to work.

Yeah! All we need is a couple of the smaller pots and a flame source we can put on the table!

[He looks concerned for a moment.]

Open flame on a ship isn't a great idea. But maybe we could use some alternate heat source?

[One wire sparks on her ONE time!]

Maybe. I'll work on it, don't you worry!

[It's one of those things he doesn't even think about because it's instinctive.]
