[Video starts with... that sure is Loki. But there's something subtly weird about his expression. There's nothing guarded or calculated about it, a slight relaxation of ever-present tension that was never apparent before, perhaps. The best poker face in all Nine Realms is nowhere to be seen. If anything, he looks upset. Confused, worried, a bit scared. And he's out in the forest on the toxic moon, which is just great, let him tell you. No mask, but he's never needed one before, not that he's aware of that, or of the fact that most people have to wear them.]

Hello? Yes, this seems to be working. What a curious device. [Anyway. The point.]

I seem to be lost. Very lost. Where is this?

[A view of the forest, brief but steady.]

And--[Careful breath.]--who am I?

[Lucky Loki, his augment has glitched and while he remembers how to do things--and the occasional esoteric fact--he has no idea who he is. Good news--or bad news depending on your opinion of his usual space asshole personality--he'll get over it in about a week.

Even if no one comes find him, he'll make his way back to civilization eventually and be very confused about life and where he's even supposed to be. Good thing he's practically indestructible. But eventually, he will be around on the Paisley, and on the Iskaulit, poking about.]

[so far, they've had pleasant conversations and while Hank knows that he has to be careful when speaking to Loki, it isn't as though he's going out of his way to run into him either. He made the obstacle course, so obviously he'll see him around.

So when Hank spots him this time - all blue, once again, this seems to be the theme - he simply lifts his hand in a wordless hello]

[Well, the good news is, Loki now knows his name is supposed to be Loki, though it doesn't feel like it fits any more than any other name, so maybe Leto's right. Maybe he just needs a different name to call himself. Though he makes it sound easier than it actually is.

Anyway, he's wandering around on the ship, poking here and there, looking for things that catch his interest and then--hey! It's another blue person! And the blue person waved at him, how friendly. He offers a friendly wave back.]

Hello! Are you a shapeshifter too?

[Are all blue people shapeshifters? Maybe that's a thing. Maybe this one can tell him more information. His curiosity is never satiated.]

[it's the strange friendliness of the wave that has him pausing, and the words that immediately put him a little on edge - not because of Loki, per say, but he was pretty sure Loki knew what he was, more or less. But it sounds all a bit too genuine to him for him to simply brush it off]

No, I'm not. [his tone is nothing but patient, but he can't help but wonder if maybe Loki had met Raven, too] What makes you ask? I thought you knew what I was.

Oh. Hm. [He might as well explain this chain of logic, to see where he's gotten it wrong.] Ahsoka saw that I could turn blue, and said that I am a shapeshifter, so thought... but I suppose I made a bad assumption.

I don't remember.

No - it's fine, it's not a bad assumption. I get my coloring from a blue shapeshifter. [but that was details he wasn't going into. Instead, he's focusing on what else Loki says, eyes widening a little]

You don't? [a frown] . . . do you remember anything?

So being blue is connected to being a shapeshifter? How interesting. [Hm, should he show this other person? Perhaps not quite yet, they're still talking. Though he is rather proud of it.]

No. Everything begins in the midst of the forest on the moon. It has been very strange.

Mine is, yes. I can't speak for anyone else. [or he could but he doesn't know if Loki will run into Kurt, and . . . well, he'll leave that to Kurt.

His immediately thought is a glitch, even if his first, initial panicking thought is not here too. Even if it was a glitch, that one was particularly cruel, he thought. He'd had his memories taken, after all]

I can imagine. [he makes a noise] When did that happen, if I may ask?

[He nods.] Can you turn into anything you like?

A few hours ago. I... Did not like being lost in the woods.

[he shakes his head with a small, wry smile] No, I can't shapeshift. I can make myself look more human, but - that's not an ability, it's a - medicine I take.

[only a few hours? Geez. He wonders how many people Loki has run into so far like this] I don't think anyone would like that. Has - anyone explained things to you so far? Why you're here, or - who you are?

Hm. I do not think I've some sort of medicine. [He's still trying to puzzle things out.] Ahsoka said I can feel the Force, but I can't be Jedi side I am obviously too old...

Ah... I know that my name is Loki. Though Leto had told me I ought to choose my own name, though I don't know what I would pick. It isn't as if anything sounds right or wrong. Nothing else, really.

I - don't know what much of that means, I'm sorry. [he was only vaguely familiar with jedi, thanks to Ahsoka] But you're able to shapeshift? [was it magic or an actual change, is the real question.

. . . that's right, Leto had been to a world like Kyriakos, too. But he can't help but make a face] That's - an option, if you wish to. If this lasts longer than a few hours, I mean. But I - know what that's like. I've lost my memories before, too.

Yes! Let me show you... [As he had with Ahsoka, he focuses on that internal energy, that cold, and draws it to the surface. His skin changes over quickly to blue, the makings becoming visible, and the air temperature around him drops noticeably.]

[Hank is incredibly used to this, considering exactly who he's dating, so there isn't exactly much of a reaction save for his eyes widening in amazement. He couldn't remember if the stories he knew ever mentioned this, but - then again, he was trying not to go off them, either]

Whoa. [he says after a moment] I didn't - know you could do that.

[he has a feeling he's not supposed to know]

[He seems quite pleased with himself.] Hmm. Maybe I didn't know I could before? [He releases the power and goes back to his original color.] But it's quite easy. The power is simply... There.

And I can also shapeshift a bit differently... [Light ripples around him, and an instant later he's an apparent perfect copy of Ahsoka.]

[hank mccoy, impressed by everyone's powers] That - honestly seems more like magic to me, but I only have experience with one shapeshifter. She does it a little differently.

Is it? [Good to know. He's feeling a bit complimented. He goes back to looking like himself.] I can also play about with light. And move objects around. It is very fun. So that is magic?

I think so, but I'm not - an expert at it or anything. [he had to brush up on his mythology] Either way it doesn't really matter - it's still impressive.

Thank you! [Well, come on, even a guy with amnesia likes being complimented. Maybe moreso because the sensation is still very new to him. ] Can you do magics as well?

[he is so familiar with amnesia it hurts. His own, all the teammates that came through his team. Ugh. He's trying to not to let that bleed into this] No - my abilities are all physical.

Oh. [He'd like to meet someone who could do magic, so that he could learn. Oh well.] What sorts of things?

[he knows of a few people who use magic, but . . . then again, it's Loki. Amnesiac or not, and he doesn't know how Loki would feel about it afterwards, either] I have enhanced strength and agility. And - some of my senses are enhanced. [he gestures up to one of his ears]

Oh, that's very interesting. Enhanced how? [He's just really curious, Hank.] And how much?

[curiosity is dangerous, Loki]

Enhanced compared to a human. I can hear and smell better than a regular human. I don't . . . train my senses - only to tune out louder noises. [he's very good at that, at least. He has to be] Uh - otherwise I can lift a couple of hundred pounds? Give or take.

Hm. I know that I am not human, after what Ahsoka has told me, though she knows not what I am precisely other than that. Unless shapeshifter is its own sort of species? She wasn't clear about that. But I wonder how my senses might compare to yours, then.

I lack so many frames of reference. It is very frustrating.

You told me you're from Asgard. [that doesn't necessarily mean he's Asgardian, but it's at least something he can offer] And I imagine that some of your senses are stronger than mine, considering.

[a sympathetic quirk a smile] I know it is. I've gone through it.
