[Text/Action] 3rd Form
Who: Mystique and OTA
Broadcast: Text/Yes
Action: On the Iskaulit
When: 6 June and onwards

[True to her word Mystique is found at the Iskaulit gym throughout the week, and when she is not training with someone she is doing her own practice during her hours there.]

He's never actually trained with his Raven, or - anyone else for that matter. This was all new territory, save for maybe jogging with a teammate every now and then back in the other world he'd been to. He takes off his glasses and sets that and the rest of what he brought off to the side as he considers her question]
I appreciate that. [especially considering he isn't all that certain what his limits are this way] I . . . mm, like I told you, everything's more - muted this way. [he looks down at his hand purses his lips] I don't really know what I'm capable of, though. I just know my strength is cut in half.
[it would be awkward to overwhelm the serum this early in the morning, and with Mystique no less]

[Eyeing up the size they had to work with and debating how much effort it may be for him, not knowing what Hank could do yet, Mystique set a number in her head to start with.] We'll do ten laps of the room, stretch, and then see what we can learn.

[he glances around as well and he's struck with how suddenly similar this is to his very first training, in front of a mansion with Charles. It makes his smile widen, and there's suddenly a quote in his head, about good and evil and he can't help but faintly shake his head] Alright.
[a pause, and:] I used to do laps around the mansion for training - uh, before I . . . [he makes a gesture to indicate his enhanced mutation] I was a lot faster back then.
no subject
[Honestly she could had just set him to run by himself, stand back and order him to do so but in her experience it was better to be part of the exercise, especially when starting off. Once Mystique knew what he could do and how comfortable they were both in regards to this, then she might act that way.] Come on. [Taking a few steps back from him she started off in a light jog, waiting for Hank to catch up with her.]
no subject
[he catches up, jogging along side her. This was fairly easy, all things considered, and a decent warm up for whatever else she had planned. He usually didn't bother much with the warming up part]
no subject
But... well... he was trying to get on with her, and she was trying to be 'nice'. Ugh, she guessed...] I see. [Before asking,] This was affect by the serum, I assume? [Mystique's voice carefully neutral to make it only about asking a question, no accusation or tone of disgust behind it, despite how she felt on the matter of mutants needing to 'change'.]
no subject
It was, yeah. I'm still fast, but not - nearly as fast as I could be before. [instead of that his strength had been enhanced far past what he thought possible, among all the changes he went through] Everything but that was enhanced, more or less.

Not as much as I used to. [is the answer he finally settles on. He'd been young and foolish to think he'd had it bad then - and he'd only gone and made it worst for himself. He never blamed anyone else for that. In his worst moments alone, he'd convinced himself he'd had it coming] I didn't miss having the ability so much as . . . mm, I guess everything else.
[training with Charles, helping him with the other mutants - that's what he really missed]
no subject
In fact, lets move on.] I will be interested to see how much strength you have in this form. I haven't had the opportunity to fight Hank McCoy from my world, and even then I don't believe he ever fought with his full strength when I witnessed him in a fight, the closest would be when he has been up against Sabertooth. [Since Victor could easily take the damage and just shrug it off.]
no subject
He's great with moving on to a more neutral topic] I don't . . . know a Sabertooth. I've never, uh - tried to fight like this, either. [a considering pause] I know I can take a hit or two, at least. [Thanks, Logan]

A blink of an eye later and she was back to herself, having not missed a step in her jogging between her shifting of forms.] I suggest giving him a wide berth if he ever shows up here.
no subject
He can't help but huff a little bit, though] If I run into him it won't be by choice, I'm sure. But thank you for the warning.
no subject
I am a little surprised he didn't show up if you know of Logan, he has a habit of trailing him around and going after anyone he's close to.
no subject
He glances at her curiously, then shakes his head] Logan's . . . arrival is a little complicated, but it was just him.
no subject
Let me guess, he tried to skewer a bunch of morons at a local bar, thus outing his mutation and giving us all a 'bad name', or was it sleeping with one of the women who would become a teacher at the school? [It sounded very much like something Logan would stumble into.]
no subject
[oh Hank, your bias is showing. He blinks at her before he immediately looks away, and he drags a hand over his face, muttering something that sounds suspiciously like idiot directed at himself.
But yes, Logan conversation. Let's focus on that] No, he - uh, he knocked on the door to the mansion. [are you surprised? It gets better] When I wouldn't let him in he forced his way in anyway, and when I tried to stop him he punched me in the face.
[there it is, classic Logan]

He rolls his eyes as well, though there is a bit of fondness in his voice. He liked Logan, for all that their first meeting went a little crazy. It'd be a lie if he said he didn't miss him, either] I'm so glad that that's a common affliction across the timelines. [fond, but deadpanned]

I honestly only really ran across Wolverine as a member of the X-Men, and considering I was working for Erik at the time we were hardly on friendly terms.
no subject
Our X-Men . . . what's left of it, it's just Charles and I.
