Nothing really new yet? I mean, I'm sure there'll be something, but right now, it's a lot of learning how everything works.

How are you doing clothes-wise. Do you want to look through what I have?

I ... pretty much have what was in my bunk and the clothes I arrived in. So, if you don't mind me looking through?

How often do you get a chance to get new stuff? [ She pauses, thinking. ] How does that even work out here?

Well, we get money deposited into our accounts. I guess because of how well we "perform" or whatever. I don't like to think about it too hard. Anyway, we get money and then when we dock places there are sometimes places to get things. Otherwise, there's usually fabric and Winn makes a mean garment.

[trigeminalheadache]

Winn sews? [ There's pure admiration in her voice. ] That's something he and Cisco have in common. Please tell me they've talked about that.

They definitely had. Winn made all the prototypes and designs for my costume. Cisco did the same for Barry, right?

[trigeminalheadache]

Right. Barry, the Green Arrow, Spartan, White Canary. And Cisco designed the tech for Black Canary and consulted with Ray on the ATOM suit.

You guys have so many people.

Who's Spartan?

[trigeminalheadache]

And most of them non-powered.

Spartan works in Star City with the Green Arrow, the Black Canary, and Speedy. Former soldier who then worked as a bodyguard for Oliver Queen.

We should do a who's who at some point. You can write out how everyone's related to everyone else.

Sure. That may require a large blank section of wall and some color-coding.

We'll get a conspiracy board going. I'm sure Winn could help with that.

Conspiracy board? I'm not familiar with that.

Oh, you know. I don't think it's a thing per se. Just the stereotype of paranoid conspiracy theorists who have newspaper clippings and red strings going from Ronald Reagan to crop circles to ancient aliens.

Oh! Okay, a less paranoid example? Barry has one of those about his mom's murder. It's a little odd that he still has it, though, considering that's already been settled.

It's in his lab at the CCPD. He keeps it hidden behind a map of the city.

I didn't know about his mom. But you said the case is closed? Does he feel the same way?

[trigeminalheadache]

I'm pretty sure he does? The man responsible, Dr. Wells, he left a video confession so that Barry could get his dad out of prison.

Well, that's... something at least.

Well, his video also told Barry that he could have everything he ever wanted and he still wouldn't be happy. [ She looks down. ] I'm ashamed to admit that I admired that man, once. That I would have done anything to receive his praise and attention.

Don't beat yourself over something like that. Some people are really skilled at making themselves what we need or want.

And some people are— [ She draws in a deep, pained breath. ] —really good at falling for it.
