We did. It took a lot of work, but we managed to defeat them, and undo most of the damage they'd inflicted. Our reward was a trip back home, or some other world if we so chose. I was supposed to go home, but I arrived here instead.

I was admittedly very annoyed when I found myself here. I had earned my journey home. It seems Atroma had other ideas.

It truly is. They're horrendously annoying.

No. It is better than Exsilium, and from what I gather of my world's future, it is better than there, also.

People remember more than you do?

It is less remembering more, and being from a different point in time. Some of the people here come from a few years ahead of the point I came from. Just as some are from an earlier point than I.

I know how that works in theory but it's so strange to think about.

It gets even stranger for me. There seem to be alternate timelines. The leader of our merry band has been four different people, counting the one I know back home, and the ones I have met here. That is...very confusing.

I know of alternate timelines, but that's very specific.

It is very strangely specific. It seems to only truly effect three people, thus far. All three of them are important figures in our recent history. People who have, or will, change our world.

The rest of us seem to be much the same. It is only our relationships with these people that change.

Well, everyone changes the world in their own way... but yeah, that's confusing.
