[You know, Clay hadn't been expecting a day like this. All he was doing was going to the Iskaulit to do some workouts in the gym, even bopping to a tune playing in his head.

Of course, that all comes a stop when he sees the mess before he sees anyone else. Blood trailing through the hallway, like someone had been walking with it. His stomach churns a bit, and his first instinct is to flee and get someone with medical help. Like Jennifer, or Beverly, or...

But no, he's here, and he... doesn't really realize just how bad it is yet. He returns to his shuttle first to grab the first-aid box, then heads in to see who needs his help.

And upon following the trail, well... Turns out, it's a lot worse than he thought it'd be, and that instinct from before comes back full force. He's only had some lessons, he's not prepared for this level of medical trauma, he really isn't -

And that's why he'll be calling out on the comms - not video, because there are kids on the network, but it's pretty clear by the state of his shaky voice that this is definitely an emergency.]

I-I need doctors - healers, medics -

[He takes in a deep breath - ]

I need all medical personnel to the Iskaulit right now!

[He'd stepped away so he could talk to Kurt without disturbing doctor or patient, and he nods once he's done.]

Please stand by for transport. He'll beam you directly to medbay, and I'll follow later on a shuttle.

[She retreats into formalities that provide a sense of familiarity and stability. There's work to be done, no room for emotions except of course for her brief encounter with Sascha.

They don't have to wait long for the transporter and once in Windrose's sickbay, she immediately springs into action, first setting up a tube thoracostomy to drain the fluids in her chest, then collecting what she needs from around the lab to put Wrath in traction. As soon as Vision returns, she'll no doubt be putting him immediately to work as well.]

[It takes him somewhat longer, since he's taking the shuttle back and gathering the rest of his crew - Makie and Kitty and Misty are all injured to some extent, but the first two are relatively minor. Misty's unconscious but doesn't seem too bad. The other medics have more or less taken care of everything else.

He makes his way to the medbay and gives her a brief sitrep, followed by]

[Beverly has most of the traction mechanisms rigged up and ready to go, but -]

Her spine needs to be stabilized and realigned so I'm going to need your help getting her in traction. If it's possible to generate some sort of anti-gravity field around her, anything to get the pressure off her spinal cord while she heals.

[He frowns, considering whether that's something that can be done. Of course, he floats around all the time, but his abilities can only affect himself.]

I can divert some of the engine's power to create that in a small area. It will take me a few minutes in the engine room; please let me know immediately if it affects anything aside from the area around the bed.

[And he'll run off to do that real quick.]

[While he does that, Beverly double checks the chest tube before attaching a system of ropes, slings, and pulleys to the bed to relieve the pressure on Wrath's spine and to align everything properly. Not too long after, she can feel the gravity decreasing around them and she calls on her comm to Vision.]

That should be sufficient, for now.

[Lose too much gravity and she can't tend to Wrath effectively. It's not an ideal rigging - force fields would be a lot of help in this situation - but it will do.]

[So he leaves it there for now. Maybe they can rig something more specific up later, but for now this will have to do. He heads back up as soon as he's able.]

Once she's stabilized, I'll see what I can do about a better long-term solution. What else can I do?

[She takes a deep breath and debates something for a moment. She's loathe to leave Wrath but... she's stable for now and Vision is not going to let anything happen to her.]

She's lost a lot of blood and I can't get in contact with Allen. I need to go back to the Blue Fish so I can preform a transfusion.

[He nods, already texting Kurt to stand by for another transporter beam and Ordis to move them closer.]

Do you need her there as well or only to grab supplies? We can have you there and back quickly enough.

Just to grab supplies. I don't want to chance moving her again.

I'll stay right here and call you immediately, should anything change.

[Beverly nods sharply, pauses, then rests her hand briefly on his shoulder.]

Thank you. I'll return as soon as I can.
