006 - action/voice; i came in like troy walking in with pizza
Who: Clay Terran + You people
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: On the Iskaulit
When: June 7th, a bit after this
[You know, Clay hadn't been expecting a day like this. All he was doing was going to the Iskaulit to do some workouts in the gym, even bopping to a tune playing in his head.
Of course, that all comes a stop when he sees the mess before he sees anyone else. Blood trailing through the hallway, like someone had been walking with it. His stomach churns a bit, and his first instinct is to flee and get someone with medical help. Like Jennifer, or Beverly, or...
But no, he's here, and he... doesn't really realize just how bad it is yet. He returns to his shuttle first to grab the first-aid box, then heads in to see who needs his help.
And upon following the trail, well... Turns out, it's a lot worse than he thought it'd be, and that instinct from before comes back full force. He's only had some lessons, he's not prepared for this level of medical trauma, he really isn't -
And that's why he'll be calling out on the comms - not video, because there are kids on the network, but it's pretty clear by the state of his shaky voice that this is definitely an emergency.]
I-I need doctors - healers, medics -
[He takes in a deep breath - ]
I need all medical personnel to the Iskaulit right now!

Clay? Clay, what's wrong? Is Qing there? He said he was heading to the Iskaulit, and he's in lab support? Is he okay?
Voice (omg)
I don't know who Qing is, but I'll try to find him!
[Ugh, there are too many "I don't know"'s about this. He's so not prepared for this kind of thing.]

If you could send one of the doctors my way at some point, that'd be great, but it's not critical. One of Winter's victims is a little girl. She's out cold.
[Guess how angry she is about this by the total flatness of her voice. Go on.]
[Okay, yeah, that makes him angry too. He doesn't know Winter, doesn't know what caused this, but one of his victims being a little girl?
He wonders if it's Katie, and there's fret on top of the already sick feeling in his stomach, but he tries to keep that at bay. There's people who are in a critical state, and he knows whoever the girl is will be taken care of, and she's already in Nami's care.]
Okay... thanks for the help. I'll try to bring whoever can make it over to you.

[Except he's bleeding. And unconscious. And from the looks of his location and the debris around him, looks like he got thrown through an empty shop front.]
[Oops.]
Action!
He'd been really hoping Allen would answer his call, half because he knows he's a good medic, and half because it'd let him know that he wasn't part of all this. But once he looks through the mess of the shop and sees who's inside, well - those hopes are certainly dashed right away.]
Allen!
[And next thing he knows, he's in a kneel down beside him, and... good, he's still breathing. That's one major relief, and it makes him let out a long breath that he didn't know he was holding in. Right. Priorities. Figure out how bad off he is, don't - don't let emotions get the best of him.]
Can you hear me? [He takes a look at his injuries and opens up his medkit, which is already running low on bandages.] Answer me if you can!

Maybe more strange is the lack of a smile on his face, replaced by a serious determination that echoes all the way up to his eyes.]
Breathe. Panic will cause chaos. [The first words out of his mouth are calm, gentle, and they set the tone for the rest of his commentary.] Something happened, somehow they put Winter back into his brainwashed mode. I'm still on the Iskaulit, not too far from the gardens, and if you can give me a general direction, I'll be there to help.

The presence of someone else, a close friend in particular, helps. He straightens back up, wipes at his mouth even though he hasn't done anything yet, and turns to Stefan with a strained little smile.]

I don't - Someone was brainwashed apparently? Or got back to being brainwashed? I don't know, he just - he went on some kind of rampage. There're a lot of people hurt.

If anyone happens to be lingering around Wrath, they'll get a stern-looking Beverly striding towards them, ordering them to move out of the way. She comes to kneel at Wrath's side, ignoring the blood soaking into the legs of her jumpsuit. While she runs the tricorder scan, she talks to Wrath in low soothing tones - but for once, she doesn't touch her, not wanting to trigger any more pain.]
Wrath, honey, I'm here, okay? I'm going to take care of you but I need you not to move or try to talk.
[First things first, now that the scan is complete: stop the pain. She opens the medkit to prepare a sedative.]

He should avoid it, go somewhere else just in case...but instead? Sascha follows it, nostrils flared as he follows the coppery scent to its source and finds the absolute horror of a mess that is Wrath's assault. There's blood on the floor, the wall, splatters and sprays spread across so much space it almost seems impossible Wrath has any left in her body after all this.
It's quite possibly one of the most beautiful and appetizing things Sascha has ever seen. There's so much of it, probably to be cleaned up later and put to waste, washed down a receptical and sterilized. But it looks so good. Just a little taste should be fine, right...? He could clean up the mess himself--he won't leave any smears. He just...needs to...
bend down in order to crouch on the floor right then and there, regardless of anyone else around. His hands slide into the bloody puddle on the floor almost in awe and haf-second before he leans down?
And gives the floor a long, hungry lick. ]

the aftermath if always that much worse. there is blood everywhere and the scent is sickening and the sight of the injured will stay with him for a long time.
it will linger in winter's mind as well, he knows and will haunt and will hurt and will pry at him and he can't explain this to people, not yet. not when there is work to be done.
it's always the same, steve fails winter and has to clean up after the mess he had created on the fateful day he had let bucky fall from the train to a fate so much worse than death.
this too, is on him. but there is no place for guilt, people need help and captain america does his duties as he must.
he is not a medic, not by far but the war has taught him some things, he will be there to bandage and clean wounds, will be there for first aid and to sit with the injured, to assure them, somehow, that it will all be alright. ]

sam's ota what up
I.
It's okay, guys, it's not as bad as it looks (sort of). Sam's currently in a weird, magical Sam space where he's blocked the pain out and compartmentalized it as something else -- blame the years hell-time. That said, his body is so not liking him right now as he rushes around to make sure nobody else is in need of medical attention.
... Not that he can give it. His right hand has all the fingers broken, wrist equally broken. He keeps that tucked away and, really, it's to be expected he thinks. He seems to always get shot in the arm, or his arm broken, or his wrist. Or whatever. Welcome to Supernatural.
Winter also broke his nose, so that's got blood going on. It's stopped now, though. Bruises and cuts, the broken nose, those are things he'll deal with easily. Bruised and battered with a few broken bones isn't anything compared to the poor people around here pretty much laid out and on the verge of death.
............ Please someone make him sit down, though, ffs.
II.
Once he's stabilized, though, you can meet him assessing and taking photos of the areas (once everyone injured is taken away, of course), his bad wrist in a sling so that he doesn't keep jostling it around and bandaids and whatnot peppering his face. 'Sup.
He's here to crack down and get this all recorded, in case it requires any future study. Because something went really wrong here.]
This is... bad.
[He will also talk to anyone who was attacked and managed to get by without getting nearly murdered, so. Feel free to notice him coming over to ask questions and write it down.
ooc: as a note, Katie will be healing him later with magic, but anyone who uses non-magic medical techniques can help him out. and don't worry about bending time and space, I'm down for whatevs.]
II because i love you
When she actually gets there and sees the mess, she's a little surprised - and disappointed she apparently missed out on some fun, because holy shit. And of course there's a Winchester somewhere in the midst of it all. She can't help but roll her eyes as she approaches him, as casual as if he wouldn't try to stab her if she hadn't promised to be on her best behavior. Who knows, he still might try]
Well, don't you look a lot better than the last time I saw you in person.

[After Mikleo and Clay found Allen and treated him some, he was taken to the Space Bar along with other wounded people. He's better off than a lot of the others. He's got some bad looking cuts and bruises - especially one on his head, but it's nothing that won't heal up on their own given enough time.]
[If anything, he's bordering twitchy that he's been barred from helping out the people still out there thanks to the head injury. He hates sitting still after something like this, it made him think about things he didn't want to think about. Especially, what could have possibly set Winter off.]
[So, you might find him sitting at a table, attempting to bandage himself up in a determined manner (there were other people more hurt than he was, the least he can do is not use up their resources). Or, if you're nearby, trying to check up on your character on the fly]
Are you okay?
Action
When Allen comes by to check on him, Clay's so wrapped up in his own head that he doesn't really realize he's talking to him, or that he even talked in the first place. So there's no answer at first, just him leaning forward to rest his forehead against his arm, which in turn smears a bit of blood on him. He tries not to notice that fact.]

This was what he was made for. What he loved, and what he so rarely got the chance to do, and at the back of his mind, part of him was chastising himself for being so glad that he had actual patients to work on. People were hurt, after all, and that was never good.
But he could deal with that problem later. Once there, he moved through with the air of one who was confident in his abilities, helping wherever he was asked, wherever he saw someone wounded, moving on to the next patient as soon as he was done.
Afterward, however, he could be found in the garden, staring at the plants, quiet and contemplative. It was over now... and that left him feeling strangely hollow.]

Action OTA for healing
Anders pushed his sleeves up and went to the nearest injured person he found, hands already starting to glow their gentle blue of his magic.]
I'm a healer, I'm here to help.
Action
Only after a short time, Anders is there, moving among the wounded with his hands glowing that familiar comforting glow and Hawke can't help but smile. A smile that vanishes rather quickly with where he left things with Anders. He owes the man an apology.
Adalwolfe waits until everyone's at least been looked at, doing what little he can with his limited creation magic and keeping an eye on Anders until he can get a reliable moment alone with the blond.]
I'm sorry.

For Coil, Syeira, and Zhas
It's Coil she finds, slumped in one of the halls. Alone. Injured. But alive. Syeira kneels by his side, no panic in her eyes. This is not an unfamiliar circumstance, standing over wounded comrades, and patching them back up.]
Coil? Can you hear me? Don't move, just blink if you can.

because, the very first thing that returns to him is the image of the soldier marching right for him with murder in his eyes, and the second thing is the immediate, high-pitched panic that comes with the fact that tries to gasp and can't.
instead of sitting still like an obedient patient, as soon as Coil's eye flutters open, his whole body writhes.
his hands come up in terrified self-defense, swinging blindly for her as his palms flare with cold light. he's not seeing an ally in front of him. he's not seeing much of anything.]

He's so lost in his thoughts that he probably doesn't notice that someone else has chanced on him.]
