006 - action/voice; i came in like troy walking in with pizza

[You know, Clay hadn't been expecting a day like this. All he was doing was going to the Iskaulit to do some workouts in the gym, even bopping to a tune playing in his head.

Of course, that all comes a stop when he sees the mess before he sees anyone else. Blood trailing through the hallway, like someone had been walking with it. His stomach churns a bit, and his first instinct is to flee and get someone with medical help. Like Jennifer, or Beverly, or...

But no, he's here, and he... doesn't really realize just how bad it is yet. He returns to his shuttle first to grab the first-aid box, then heads in to see who needs his help.

And upon following the trail, well... Turns out, it's a lot worse than he thought it'd be, and that instinct from before comes back full force. He's only had some lessons, he's not prepared for this level of medical trauma, he really isn't -

And that's why he'll be calling out on the comms - not video, because there are kids on the network, but it's pretty clear by the state of his shaky voice that this is definitely an emergency.]

I-I need doctors - healers, medics -

[He takes in a deep breath - ]

I need all medical personnel to the Iskaulit right now!

But yeah. Glitches happen. You're not safe from them either; it could be changing around your age, changing your personality, or — something like this, if you're really unlucky. It might be an accidental glitch, but this... is feeling less and less like one.

[a pause, and then a little flatly]

You mean to tell me that they just watched someone come through here and wreck shop? Wow, they might be worst than me.

They're very dedicated to their stupid little show.

That's not suspicious. [she murmurs. For something that's supposed to be some sort of reality space show, Meg would think it'd be popular nonsense, like the ones back home]

What else have you found out about our hosts, Sherlock?

Not much. They're locked up tight in the Marsiva somewhere, and nobody's been able to get anywhere near them, as far as I know.

Well, Mystique's around. [He winces, adjusting his hand; he's still a terrible mess, though talking is at least keeping his attention on something.] I have a feeling you two would actually get along.

[He hasn't actually met her upfront, but he's a lurker. The creep.]

Of course we'd get along, she's a woman who knows what she wants. [and Meg can relate] Are you stalking the mutants too? Do they count as supernatural? [that part is teasing, because she knows he's a lurking creep.

She glances down as Sam adjusts his hand and raises an eyebrow. She's terrible at this concern thing, and what she's feeling couldn't even really be called that, but] Did you get that looked at, or did you doctor yourself up?

Guess they would. I'm keeping an eye out, but there's not much use for a hunter here.

[He glances at her.]

Figured I could hold off for a while. There are plenty of healers around, but they're better used for people who are way more hurt.

[angelherding]

I almost believed that. [no use her ass; if she stepped out of line she knows he'd come after her in a heartbeat.

Ah, yes, putting everyone else before himself. A terrible trait. She rolls her eyes] Isn't that sweet of you. Considering how many people came running over here, I think it's safe to say it's your turn. [and she makes a gesture] Go get fixed, you look miserable and I'm enjoying it too much.

[He's really not sure if you're enjoying it or not, but you probably are, so.

He turns slightly.]

Yeah, well, watch yourself. Could be more where that all came from.
