Who: Erik, Charles, Hank and Raven
Broadcast: nah
Action: the Blameless. warning for injury treatment, probably.
When: June 7th, shortly after this
[This is the second time in the span of seven days that Erik has had to pilot a shuttle while his vision isn't a hundred percent. It's almost a pattern, he thinks blearily to himself. Different causes, though. As the shuttle docks with the Blameless, he can't help but blow out a breath.
First step done. Now to get out.]

Russian. English. Winter. Daybreak. His head was pounding. ]

And Raven was taking care of him, too. That helped put more of his worries to rest. He kneels down and grabs Charles' hand for a moment, squeezing]
Hey, it's your turn. [focus on me if you have to, he puts out there, as gentle as he knows how to]
no subject
I really couldn't, right now.

I need to look to see how badly they're broken - are you having any problems breathing, or is it just painful?
no subject
Just painful. He kicked me a few times.
no subject
Alright. Keep taking those slow breaths - did Raven give you anything for the pain? And has it kicked in yet?
no subject
Y . . . Yes. I believe it has.
no subject
You're not going to like this, but I have to - poke around to see how bad it is. I'll be as careful as I can, okay?
no subject
Of course, Hank.

How are you feeling?
no subject
Better than you, most likely.
no subject
I'm fine. Just a few fractured ribs.

[He perches carefully on the edge of the cot, taking the weight off his feet.]

In my defense, my mind's a little cluttered right now. I'll be properly admonished later.

What happened?
( How did this happen? Where was he? So many other questions )
no subject
I sort of collided against a man with a metal arm.
no subject
How? Who were they?

no subject
Yes. The Atroma. They slipped into his head and made him regress to a time when . . . he had to follow orders.
no subject
Can he be pulled out of that?
no subject
[ It's certainly not something he's run into before. But with time and armed with hindsight, Charles knows that he could have done more. Should have done more.
He had gotten rusty. Let the old prejudices take shape and grip him tightly. He's never trusted himself, not after knowing that nobody trusted him.]
