[ It's been a few days, and while she's been asleep, a few strange changes have occurred ... her face and hair a little longer, her body a little more filled out -- so on and so forth. A couple of days is no time at all when you're busy remembering a whole year or two worth of memories!

But tonight is when she suddenly groans and moves to sit up a little, face in her hands for a moment as she rubs her eyes. ... And then she's looking around. ]

... Wait. What?

[ broadcast; ]

[ A somewhat familiar -- but a little older looking -- blonde appears on the network. She takes a moment to fix her hair before she speaks. ]

Well ... hi again, everyone. I guess I'm back now? Super weird, but what else is new, right? -- Did I miss anything exciting?

[ She says it so nonchalantly, but honestly, at this point the brain mixup from a canon bump is old hat. ]

I'm glad you're back. I mean, I know you've got a lot to do, but it's good to see you.

I just got back a couple of hours ago. Still stuck on the Marsiva, actually.

... Are you okay? Was home okay?

Wow, I really do have good timing.

[ She grins. ]

Home is fine -- busy as hell, but fine. [ She pauses. ] The war is over, now.

[ She has to laugh a little. ]

Somehow. I'll be lucky if I don't die from all the paperwork I've had to do lately, though.

Ew, a war hero delegated to paperwork? That sounds like the beginning of a really depressing movie.

Not exactly delegated -- I kinda volunteered. It's what we have to do to open the new hospital we've been working on.

Whoa, a hospital? Really? That's gotta be huge.

It is ... definitely unprecedented, that's for sure. [ She laughs a little. ] Of course we have a regular hospital for physical illness, but this is going to be a psychiatric hospital.
