[ action only -- for anyone who might be keeping an eye on her while she's been unconscious ]

[ It's been a few days, and while she's been asleep, a few strange changes have occurred ... her face and hair a little longer, her body a little more filled out -- so on and so forth. A couple of days is no time at all when you're busy remembering a whole year or two worth of memories!

But tonight is when she suddenly groans and moves to sit up a little, face in her hands for a moment as she rubs her eyes. ... And then she's looking around. ]

... Wait. What?

[ broadcast; ]

[ A somewhat familiar -- but a little older looking -- blonde appears on the network. She takes a moment to fix her hair before she speaks. ]

Well ... hi again, everyone. I guess I'm back now? Super weird, but what else is new, right? -- Did I miss anything exciting?

Morning, sunshine.

[Allen had heard about her unconscious and had been kind of worried (though really, you get used to this)- so he looks a bit surprised to see her up on the screen]

Ino?

[She looks different. She looks...]

[ wtf, he's pretty much only literally hung up with with hiro when ino begins to stir, and tadashi is on his feet in a split second. ]

Hey, you. [ he's... going into full nurse mode, okay, checking her forehead and brushing her hair from her face. ] How are you feeling?

[So, here's someone who's been hanging around to look after Ino while she's been asleep. Now that Ino's finally awake, though, she's basically scrambling all over herself to get over to her bedside.]

Ino! You're awake? Are you okay now?! I'm so sorry-!

[...older]

%$#@! Are you kidding me?!

[FIRST SOKKA AND NOW INO???]

This is just not fair!!

[ Well, that sounds familiar ... ]

... Hiro!

You look... a little different.

[he's just going to pretend he never left]

[ She blinks ... and then starts laughing ]

What? What's not fair?

[ There's a pause, and then ... ]

-- Ohhh. You mean, this? [ She makes a sweeping gesture at her face and body ... ]

[ She stares blankly for a few worrying seconds, because she's just been somewhere he doesn't exist for a long time, and then ... ]

Tadashi?

[ She reaches up to clutch the sides of his face with her hands. ]

Tadashi! Oh my god.

[ She's still getting her brain in order here, and honestly the furthest thing from her mind is the last few seconds of being awake before she went home. ]

Of course I'm okay ...

[ She blinks a little, looking baffled. ]

Why wouldn't I be?

Because you've been out cold for days now?!

I went home for a little bit. Sorry if I'm kinda mixed up the next few days, it really has been awhile ...

[ She says it so nonchalantly, but honestly, at this point the brain mixup from a canon bump is old hat. ]

I'm glad you're back. I mean, I know you've got a lot to do, but it's good to see you.

Yes, that!

[He huffs!]

It's not fair. First Sokka and now you. Why am I the one who gets stuck looking like a teenager?

Oh.

[ She frowns thoughtfully ... It felt like forever, but it only takes her a moment to remember that this isn't all that strange. ]

Yeah, I guess that's a thing that happens sometimes.

[ She's grinning a little. She does feel bad for him, but damn does it feel good ~~to be a gangster~~ to look closer to what she ought to look like these days. ]

I could teach you some genjutsu. Then you could make yourself look older, if you wanted.

[ he catches her hands with his, looking amused and a little baffled. sure, he realizes that she seems older, but the implications of that haven't quite caught up to him yet. ]

I'm guessing your head is fine, then. [ amused. ]

How are you so calm about this?!

I'm okay. I'm -- great.

[ She looks down, squeezing her eyes shut for a moment and taking a breath. Then, back up to him: ]

Well -- no. My head does kind of hurt. Did I leave ...?

'Cause it's happened before?

[ She pauses, thinking about it. Is she remembering that right? ]

Yeah. It's definitely happened before. To me and other people.

You've been asleep.

[ he squeezes her hands softly, before standing up and moving to dim the lights. ]

Just for a few days. [ and it's probably clear that tadashi has built sort of a small... nest... in the room. ] I'll get you some water.

[There's a pause as he actually considers it] No. I'm not that bad.

[ALMOST!! But not there yet]

How's Konoha?

[ Yeah, she's looking around now and noticing that. ]

... I didn't mean to worry you.

[ For some reason, she feels like Tadashi would be particularly bothered right now by something like this. What was it ... Hiro had left not too long ago last she remembered, right? There's so much information coming in between then and now, but she still feels there's something she needs to express. ]

I'm here now. I won't, again -- not without you.

[he has to appreciate how cool she is about it]

I just got back a couple of hours ago. Still stuck on the Marsiva, actually.

... Are you okay? Was home okay?

Well, if you ever change your mind, you know where to find me.

[ Hehehe. ]

As far as Konoha goes ... the war is long over, thankfully. Sakura and I are very busy lately with the proposal we've put together.

[ Let's see, what else ... ]

Oh yeah, the moon almost crashed into the Earth to make it happen, but Naruto and Hinata are dating now.

[ it doesn't really make sense to him at first, and tadashi's expression is uncertain as he returns to the bed, taking a seat on the edge of it and handing her a bottle of water. and then -

oh. he gets it. she'd been home, hadn't she? for a while, if the way she'd changed were any indication, and suddenly he feels a little awkward. ]

Do, uh -

[ normally he'd handle this more smoothly, and even now he doesn't seem upset, just vaguely awkward. hiro returning has thrown him off entirely. ]

Do you want me to give you some space?

[ because she wouldn't have remembered him, would she? not while she was at home. ]
