grandstanding: (How I could just kill a man)

If we get incredibly bored, maybe. [Dropping the communicator back onto the table, he returns to the bed. He seats himself and pokes the fluff slug that's creeping up Charles's arm.] Or if we hear from someone we know that it works.

[ It squeaks and continues its path up Charles' arm and shoulder. ]

All right. That seems reasonable.
grandstanding: (And I'm saying goodbye)

[He watches the bright blue thing continue upwards, before reaching out to pluck it from Charles's shoulder. Erik gives it a critical look; he had laughed when Charles brought the two of them back from the market only a couple of days into the stop, not seeing much point in them. He'd much preferred the company of Scythe. The Absol had been more akin to a dog, after all. Still, these were... inoffensive, at least.]

We'll put it down as a maybe, then.
axiomed: (Feeling sorry is your favourite feeling)

Maybe.

[ The magenta slug watches Erik as the bright blue slug curls into a ball. ]

Don't bully them, Erik.
grandstanding: (Erm.)

[personal profile] grandstanding 2016-06-25 11:03 am (UTC)(link)
...I'm not.

[He gives it back to Charles. If they're too sensitive for him to touch... he won't bother, then.]
axiomed: (I will find somebody new)

[ He smiles, setting him on his lap. ]

They are empathetic. They can sense the feelings around people.
grandstanding: (22)

[personal profile] grandstanding 2016-06-25 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
I thought they just gave out positive feelings. [It's what the sellers in the market liked to yell. Still, he wouldn't be surprised if the things were allergic to his feelings.]
axiomed: (They could talk all night)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-06-25 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
They can do that too.

[ He places the magenta one near Erik and it perks up, raising itself slightly before making its slow crawl towards him. ]
grandstanding: (I can't stand this indecision)

[personal profile] grandstanding 2016-06-25 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
[Erik puts a hand out to it, waiting for it to crawl on.]

I suppose you'll want to name them at some point. [Even if they are just glorified fluffy beanbags.]
axiomed: (You say it's worth it all)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-06-25 11:12 am (UTC)(link)
[ It thrills, moving closer. ]

Hmm. Good question.
grandstanding: (Sounds like a volvo with a gunrack)

[personal profile] grandstanding 2016-06-25 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
Not that it really matters. They aren't exactly going to come when you call.
axiomed: (My head and my heart)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-06-25 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
That's no excuse.

[ He eyes them critically. ] Iris and Lavender.
grandstanding: (STALKER!!!)

[personal profile] grandstanding 2016-06-25 11:22 am (UTC)(link)
[Glancing at the slug now happily sitting on his palm, Erik doesn't think it really looks like a 'Lavender'. It's more red than purple. It ultimately doesn't matter to him, though.]

Wonderful.

Since we're making decisions, do you want to have this pie for dinner, or go into the dining room?
axiomed: (My head and my heart)

[personal profile] axiomed 2016-06-25 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
[ Don't judge my naming choices. ]

Pie for dinner sounds fabulous.
