[At long last, the fleet has arrived to a new planet. This means it's time for a mingle guys! Get in! ]

[Eyyy, you know what's great for high-up places? Wings. So at some point while Clay's working away up there, he'll get a surprise voice at his ear, accompanied by the telltale sound of musical wings flapping.]

What're you working on?

[The surprise voice makes him jump a bit, as he wasn't expecting it. But the voice is familiar, as is the musical sound, and so he turns to Kirito with a big smile.]

Hey Kirito! [And with that greeting, he leans back to let Kirito take a look at his work. It's a tree house built high in the branches, but there are several holes in it, and the door had been completely broken, only barely hanging off a hinge. That door is now resting on a way off to the side while a new door is in the middle of being installed, along with a sturdier foundation to support it as well as the rest of the tree house.]

Rebuilding this whole thing, pretty much. I don't do magic stuff, and I can't take down the wildlife out there, so physical labor is about the best I can do to earn some cash around here.

[huaaaaagh]

Sweet. There must be plenty of jobs like that in a place this big. You could make some serious bank.

[Construction is a little beyond him, so even if he doesn't get it, it's something to admire.

He lands beside Clay and peers closer, checking out the current project. Manual labour... ahhh, the classic nerd's great weakness.]

Yeah... The only downside is that it takes a long time.

[With Kirito watching, Clay will go ahead and keep installing the new door. See, he's one of those rare nerds that's actually into physical exercise too, so Clay's more than capable of doing something like this.]

And it's not exactly fun. Good thing they're nice enough to allow plenty of breaks.

[Hence the flight suit he has strapped on.]

Need a hand with anything? I'm not good for any of the fine tuning, but I can lift and reach the higher stuff.

[And he's pretty much doing nothing but flying around wasting time right now, so.]

[Clay pauses to think, but... hmmm.]

Maybe you could hold this steady while I screw the hinges in? It'd be a lot easier with a power drill, but...

[Well, they're all pretty rustic, and all he's got is a screwdriver.]

[huaaaaagh]

Ah- sure! I can do that.

[Really, really glad he got that strength augment, now. That door looks pretty hefty, and his usual noodle arms aren't good for this. Still, he has been training for a while now, so that helps.

He steps closer and presses against the wood, tilting it into what he hopes is the right angle.]

[Maybe we can get in some muscle training on top of English lessons.

But Clay smiles, then gives a thumbs up.]

Perfect. Now hold it just like that while I...

[He doesn't finish, but he lets his actions speak for him as he holds the back part of the door steady as well, then begins to turn the screws into the hinges, a little frown on his face from concentration as well as effort. Still, the door stays steady thanks to the two of them, and that's what Clay was going for.]

[huaaaaagh]

[He'll try his best not to fidget, that would be very unhelpful. He can't really help tilting his head back and forth to get a better view of what Clay's doing, even if it's just twisting a screwdriver.]

Do you have much more to do up here?

Mm, nah. [And with the bottom hinge down, Clay stands and straightens up to take care of the top one.] They can pretty much take care of this, they just appreciate the extra help. I was actually thinking of taking a break after this if you wanted to come with.

[huaaaaagh]

[Well, that gets him to perk right up.]

Are you hungry? I was thinking about getting some food, maybe shopping around. The whole food district smells amazing.
