[At long last, the fleet has arrived to a new planet. This means it's time for a mingle guys! Get in! ]

( She needs something new, or Moira feels like she does. Being cooped up on the ship - or rather only being able to be on the ship (any of the ships) is a little cooping. She's not feeling like a caged animal but it is nice to have her feet on solid ground again - on a planet. All of these things are still a little weird for her

She hasn't figured out the money thing yet, with Moira only just looking around - browsing the wears, familiarising herself with anything that may be different here. It's outside of one of the shops that Moira sees Raven - a shop she's already approaching and can't just back away from. Hopefully Raven isn't so opposed to her presence as some are )

( Hey. Aren't these wares nice )

( She doesn't know if she was also hurt in that attack - she'd seen her briefly on the ship but her focus had been on Charles )

[ Raven, too, isn't used to being cooped up, and she was going a little mental herself with how hard it was to be stuck in one place for a long time. Feeling trapped wasn't something she was okay with, and she's more relieved than she could possibly say to have the chance to stretch her legs and get out of the mess that was everything in the ship.

Freedom is liberating, and she basks in it, only stopping when she hears a familiar voice. Moira isn't unfriendly, of course, and Raven had quite enjoyed being around her once upon a time, but now she's a stark reminder of something she'd quite like to forget, and she has to try and make sure she doesn't do or say something to ruin the ease between them. ]

Hi, Moira.

[ Well. This is awkward. ]

I'm fine. Glad to get the hell out of there for a while. You?

( It sure does feel a little awkward but she's trying to roll with it and not make it feel any more awkward because it was nice being friendly with Raven. It still is nice, since Moira doesn't know anything else - and never will, apparently. But it would be nice to at least try and shake the weird feeling )

It's the first place I've stopped. I didn't want to miss the chance to actually see somewhere.

( To do something more familiar, see a planet. And apparently humans. That part is a little bit weird, she'd have expected aliens or something but- maybe they are aliens, they just look similar. Movies aren't really the best guide to go on )

Hopefully we'll be here long enough to make the most of it.

[ What is funny, at least to Raven, is that she's probably far, far older than Moira imagines her to be now. She's approaching her thirties and there's no way that anyone would think that she was that old, as if her age had crept up on her - and it had, really. She hadn't aged a day since Cuba, not as far as her skin would show, and all she could do was hope that Moira didn't ask too many questions.

Raven isn't sure she has the energy for them. ]

You're lucky you didn't see the last one. It wanted to kill us.

[ Not literally, but it was poisonous air. Turning her head to look around at the world around them, Raven pauses before she breathes out. ]

It would be nice to have a break.

( That's actually something that Moira hasn't considered. Although Moira knows that they're all ten years older than when she last saw them it hasn't fully occurred to her just how old they all are, especially when they look just the same as she remembers )

Charles told me about it. It didn't sound pleasant.

( And that was putting it mildly. But it was nice to see that this planet was a lot different )

But it is. It's nice to be on the ground again.

[ The reminder of Charles makes Raven think of a dozen other things, like if Moira knows and, if she does, if Moira thinks that it's all alright and acceptable, if she's fine with it. She had imagined she saw something between her brother and the agent, but it might be easier to shrug it off and pretend as though her brother hadn't wanted in her pants. ]

We had to wear masks just to go outside. It ruined my date.

[ But. No need to talk about that. ]

Have you been in the forest yet?

With Hank.

( There's a small smile at that. Yeah, she knows. Hank's a gossip. And she approves. It's a cute match, and good for them for having something good )

I didn't know there was a forest. Is there anything there?

Yeah, with Hank.

[ This is awkward. She's sure Moira had some idea about her little crush on Hank before Cuba, but - now? She wonders fi Hank has been gossiping again. ]

Trees. Dinosaurs. The usual.

That's usual?

( Maybe Raven had a head start on the not so usual things being normal but- dinosaurs? )

[ She raises an eyebrow. ]

Nothing is usual for us.

( Well now she feels silly, but it could have been a thing!! Who knows with this fleet )
