I'm pretty sure Alex called me a freak more than once when I showed up. I can't say I blame her, though. She was an only child until she was 14. That has to suck.

Still working on my other Earth languages, though.

But I'll make sure my "definitely Kara and not Raven" test is something harder.

[ It also means if anyone from Kara's... World, or planet... Joins then Raven can deal with them and be covert about it. She has to keep her head in the game somehow, right? ]

I'm good with languages.

Clearly. That's amazing. But I imagine it helps when you're trying to blend in.

I think it's part of my mutation. There's no point of learning to be someone if I can't pick up their language.

It makes sense to me, honestly. And it seems extremely useful. Have you kept track of how many you know?

More than a handful. [ She shakes her head. ] I learn them when I need them.

Do you have a favorite?

Language? No. English is obviously the best because it's my first, but... They're just ways of speaking.

True. I just like all the ways people can communicate. It's fascinating. We had a united language on Krypton, but I knew a few others.

[athru]

I never had time to think of it like that. [ Which is almost a shame, she thinks. ] Maybe in the future.

Why not here?

I don't know. [ She does.

She doesn't trust this place to last. ]

I definitely don't plan on being here forever. Actually, the sooner I can get back home, the better. But I've basically resolved to enjoy myself if I'm given the chance, here.

How do you think you're going to get home, Kara?

Well, either Winn, Cisco, and Hank are going to figure out how to engineer something to open portals or something, or we'll be released at the whims of our captors.
