[ If Jordan notices the discomfort or even cares, it's impossible to tell. He does, however, look over and his stance is clearly unimpressed by anything he sees around him. ]

The same ship as my Alex. Apparently the... Blue Fish. This ship looks like it has enough room for one more, so I'll be telling him to transfer here instead. [ Sigh. It makes him feel like he's lost too much control that he can't go to Alex instead of making Alex come to him. How's that for taking care of his things? ] If they keep giving us the tools to circumvent them, we'll keep using them.

[ Meanwhile, she's trying to remember off the top of her buzzing head who's even on the Blue Fish. Maybe they could arrange a crew exchange if he'd rather that? She's never heard of anybody doing that before, but then the crew was much smaller back then. ]

Having him transfer here would be quickest and easiest, but if that doesn't suit you, we could try something else.

... my Alex. Alex Daniels. We arrived together. [ Which was a thing some people saw, and nothing he cares to further explain. If she doesn't know who Alex is, that's her definite loss. ]

Such as what? If it would take longer, it's not the most ideal.

[ Cecil doesn't pay much attention to the network. She knows how it works, of course, thanks to the chips put into their brains, but she doesn't like using it. She's not from a world where such things are typical and it feels impersonal to her. The repetition of such insistent possessiveness though makes her very uncomfortable, and she's conflicted between that unsettling her and sympathy for him being separated from someone he's... apparently fixated on. ]

Then it's not worth talking about.

[ And then she remembers that she's not the captain of this vessel and suddenly she is so relieved that this isn't her matter to settle. She did agree to let Tim take the reigns, after all. ]

Tim who? [ It's not like Jordan isn't one to settle his own problems, but the idea of someone else going around claiming to be a problem-solver sounds like the perfect person to prank anyway. ] Why him?

Tim Drake. He's the captain.

[ Yes, good. Let Tim be your problem-solver and/or unwitting victim.

Not that she isn't excruciatingly easy to prank herself, but... that can be a secret for a while longer. ]

Oh, someone with authority over the ship, then?

[ Yeah, that just seems to outright amuse him. ]

[ Jordan laughs outright. ]

Well, he says he doesn't expect us to listen, but nor does he wish to relinquish his... title.

So the answer is that we laugh at him. Then so be it, right?

I do believe he means well, but...

[ She shrugs, looking a little sheepish. She does respect Tim as a person, but not quite yet as a leader. Leadership is too important for her to do what she does in every other instance with people-- give respect until they give her reasons not to anymore. ]

There's no way a seventeen year old can mean completely well.

Have you had a lot of experience with seventeen-year-olds?

I was a seventeen year old with a lot of other seventeen year olds. I remember what they're like.

I don't think I was a typical seventeen-year-old.

I didn't personally know many others, at least.

Typicality has nothing to do with it. Were you home schooled or just a recluse?

[proteusmoon]

Hmmmm... I'm not sure what you mean by "home-schooled".

[ What other kind of schooling is there? ]

I was trained from an early age for knighthood.

[sensationate]

Schooled at home. [ He squints. ] As opposed to public schooling.

[ She kind of squints back. She's not understanding what the difference between these two concepts is. ]

I'm afraid I don't have some sort of identification to prove it.

I'd believe it, considering how they take everything of ours when we arrive here. [ Yes, he still misses his stuff. How dare they. ] But it's not like having proof would grant you any authority here anyway, so I don't really care. What is it you do here?

What does my knighthood have to do with authority anywhere?

Knights are generally on orders from their queen or king and act like the officials in disputes, don't they? Some kind of royal power decreed to them.
