[Beverly is still not sure about this magic gift-giving business, but it's nice to take an excursion with the crew and whatever else you might say about it, the tree is absolutely beautiful. Once they reach the giving tree, she circles around the base of the trunk, staring up at the deep red leaves in wonder. After slowly coming back around to the path, she turns to one of her crewmates and holds out a hand.]

[Allen, as much as he likes this planet, has been reluctant about the whole hand-holding business if it wasn't with his boyfriend. He was a very private person after all, and the physical contact seemed to be well...there was a tendency to overshare.]

[Clay is a pretty frequent visitor of the Blue Fish already, but towards the end of the month or so, he's there for a different reason beyond just visiting the boyfriend. No, he's made something, and he's here to bring it to the Blue Fish's rec room.

It's a pommel horse, with foam covering the large wooden bar and his initials burned into a small corner of the foam and the wood along with a tiny star, just so they know who it came from. He knows Allen's an acrobat, and he's sure Blue Fish could use some more equipment as well; what Atroma provides just isn't enough.

His plan is to leave it there and get out so that it can be a surprise, but anyone's free to walk in on him while he's setting it up!]

[Sokka's really not looking forward to this, and as such is wandering slowly around the tree, hands in his pockets, scowling at it. Every now and again, Atroma bring them to a place where he can't explain the goings on beyond "magic", and that honestly annoys him.

Magic isn't real. It's just...not.

He's just going to continue circling the damn thing.]

None of our ships have really good exercise equipment, even with all the upgrades, so I figured you guys could use something like this? I already promised Allen I'd make some pull-up bars, but I haven't found all the materials necessary to make them. He's really into acrobatics, so I thought I'd make this to compensate and to give an extra gift to you guys.

Yeah! We can prove this magic stuff is just a bunch of hockey and it's just got a perfectly reasonable scientific explanation. Like it's a wormhole into other dimensions - to pick stuff up from other worlds, or something. Or some kinda of replicator.

I do know of species who can manipulate matter naturally, without the help of machines. Beings of pure energy. Perhaps this one is only taking a solid form for the benefit of those who live here.

Oh, yeah! He does a lot of stuff like that; sometimes he'll be balancing on things while we're talking! I think he misses being able to do it, so... [He gestures at the pommel horse behind him] I made this. I'm hoping I can make more, but I figured this is a good start.
