It is! She just showed up at the big tree on the planet, it was really weird. But I'm glad Winter told me about it.

[She lifts up Jellybean and offers the protesting kitten to Vision.]

[He takes her carefully and makes what he hopes are soothing noises (they work with the slugs, anyway).] Then it's very good to meet you, little one.

[And he looks back up at Wrath.] Remarkable. I'd seen that it can bring small objects from home, but I'm glad you got another companion out of it. Officer Snuggles isn't jealous, I hope.

[The soothing noises work. As soon as Jellybean is transferred over, she settles down to purring. Maybe she really does like being up high. Blame Maine.]

They're getting along really well. He licks her and she like rides around on her back. So I guess he thinks she's a kit.

[He'll have to make sure she can't climb onto some of the higher shelves where the more dangerous plants live, but right now she doesn't look big enough to reach them anyway. He scratches her while she purrs.]

Very good. Id'd hate to have some kind of inter-species rivalry here when they're both valued members of the crew, civilian though she is. Does she eat the protein from the kitchen or do we need specific supplies for her?

She eats the protein from the kitchen just fine. Her favorite is the chicken-esque flavor. But she really likes shrimp paste! If we can find some on the next planet. Makes her fur look super glossy too.

[Good - it's much better to budget for treats than for wholesale food.]

I'll look out for shrimp paste, then. Does she have any other quirks I ought to know about?

She really likes climbing things and being up high. Maybe we could build an awesome cat gym for her? And like shelves?

Shelves will be simple enough. And perhaps a perch for the rodent habitat?

[The holding-tank they'd built for the space vermin is currently empty, since Misty had let them free on the planet (after the Vision had made sure it wouldn't cause some kind of environmental crisis).]

Oh! I bet she'd love that. Do you think the rodents would mind?

Most likely not. They're quite safe behind the plastic walls.

Okay! That sounds really great, then. She'll love it.

[She sighs.]

I already miss the planet.

It was nice to visit, wasn't it? What would you say you liked most about it?

It was my favorite planet so far! The beach was so nice, and I got to go into the forest a little too, and all the empathy stuff was super interesting. And I got to spend lots of time with Kurt and with Winter, which was great!

I'm so glad to hear that.

[And he notes that she still calls him Winter. Though Bucky himself hadd said he didn't mind so much here.]

What about you? What was your favorite part?

[He closes his eyes so he can envision it.]

Everything was connected. The plants most of all, but even the people were in harmony with one another. The planet was vibrant with life.

It really was! It was such a nice place to be. I wish we hadn't left. I've got all kinds of paintings I wish I could do for it.

I'd quite like to see any of them you've done, if you don't mind sharing. I took a few photographs, but it's not entirely the same.

Oh, sure. I'd be happy to show you everything once I'm done.

Er--in fact I've been attempting to deal with something rather complex, and it's taking up more of my attention than I'd like. It, ah, shouldn't affect things on the ship overly much, I should hope.

[She looks at him for a long time, then makes the observation:] That's a lot of words to say not much.

[As usual, Wrath is perceptive about these things. He frowns lightly.]

I've gained new memories, and the memories are not okay. However, they should be of little relevance here as events currently stand.

[He continues to frown. She's not wrong.]
