I frame my best friend for something I did, in the future. That does matter to me, even if not being able to save the rest of the galaxy doesn't.

if it is important to you then you should take control.
what matters to you is just as important as the galaxy.

Maybe. I'm afraid that if I do go back, I won't remember to know better. Or I won't remember until it's too late. Nothing would have been learned.

if you do what you can while you are here then you must have done enough.

I hope that's the case.

But what about you? What have you learned? Why are you here?

i am here to learn my own nature.
i have discovered my curse, and how to break it.
that is enough.

That sounds important. I'm glad that you have.

it is something that matters to me and no one else.
i do not know if i will remember when i return to my world.
i do not know if i wish to remember.

[ontrial]

But if breaking this curse will improve your life, wouldn't you want to remember?

breaking the curse will creating something far more difficult to bear.
i will be free, but the cost will be great, and i shall lose myself.
would you wish to remember?

I suppose that would depend on the impact of the curse if it's never broken. I imagine it's heavy, but sometimes difficult things must be done for the sake of improvement.

Maybe you wouldn't really lose yourself.

i know of my curse.
i know the price.
i must simply learn to live with it.

Then I hope you find the strength to do just that. If you must be cursed, find the way to make the best of it.

Would anything help to strengthen you?

nothing that any would be willing to give.

Some people are more willing to give than others.

kindness and insanity are two different things.

But people do insane things in the name of kindness all the time.

i am unlikely to be convinced.

At home, before I took the path I've taken in some of my friends' pasts, I was a Healer. I just want you to know that I don't have to know you at all to promise that I would help you if I could.

if it were possible to heal what ails me then i would accept that kindness.

[ontrial]

Is it possible? Has anyone tried? I rely upon the Force, I don't know if any other Healer's methods would be the same as my own.

i have tried.
my adoptive family tried.
i have read tomes and texts and studied for years.
there is nothing.

I'd still like to try. You can't be without hope.
