Show some spirit! It's a new system, and that means new people, new shenanigans, new adventures, savvy? You'd better have enough moxie to thrive in this one...
Or maybe you're just here for the food.

Maglor | OTA
Maglor only meant to seek out weapons for himself - after Syeira's... (don't. don't think it. she's fine)... either way, he cannot afford to go without, not again. He is drawn by the light gems of Moxie, but, ah, Spirit's libraries...
It turns out, with his normal quiet, reasonable demeanour, and tendency to wear blue, he passes quite easily within the faction, even without trying.
(The fact that he all but lights up when talking about music or language undoubtedly helps.)
He can be found wandering through the libraries, happily browsing, or in the shops, talking quietly but intensely to the merchants about swords.
Moxie
He's too much his mother's son, to pass as Moxie. But he's too much his father's not to be drawn to the weapons here. He's not interested in the newer, fancy things - no, he's arguing with the merchants about proper costs for good, old-fashioned steel.
Pushed far enough, he might even be happy to give a demonstration on why that price is a total rip off... although that might break the sword, and land him in jail.
Lavandula
He hears the flute, and is drawn to it, as he is to music in general, lifting his voice quietly to sing back, harp softly ringing. The atmosphere of the place in general evokes a quiet melancholy, and he can be heard in several places, voice low and sweet. He's already may a fair bit busking that way, but he won't mind company.

ooc: something up there not suiting? make up your own~
Lavandula
He didn't want his grandson to feel alone and lost though and he hopes his company can at least provide some solace.

"Your music is still beautiful as always. I hope it never fades," he said quietly as he leaned over to kiss the top of Maglor's head.
no subject
"Thank you." He hums, content.
"This place is a nice one. Not so green as the last planet though."

He blinks up at his grandfather.
"Really?"
Not even father?

Spirit!
He lit up when he saw Maglor and near-danced over to him, offering a book he'd found just before his cousin came into view.
"Have you seen this one yet, Cousin? It sounds fascinating!" But then, most things in this new universe fascinated him!
Spirit!
"Have a little respect for the sanctity of the library." He scolds teasingly. "What have you found, cousin? You are clearly enjoying yourself!"
no subject
"I like it here," he admitted softly after a minute. "Even with the factions. They seem to have a system that works."
no subject
"Hm, I suppose I should, provided you remember to keep your voice down!" He smiles at him, the madness in his own eyes settled for the moment.
"They do. I did not have the heart to tell them that I am not particularly interested in the factions when they pointed me to the libraries. I am surprised you are not outside, however!"
no subject
"I will try to remember, Cousin."
A warm hug and he nodded, humming quietly. "They treated me the same. I was outside! But the books here are different than back home. I was curious."
no subject
"They are. The music books are quite enlightening, and they have several treatises on language. What did you discover?"
no subject
"I found this music book," to his credit he did try to keep his voice down, but music! He didn't shove the thick book into Maglor's hands, but kept it on his lap where it nearly spilled over onto the older Elf's. "There are instruments I know nothing of, and this one discusses some of the stringed ones."
no subject
"Ah, yes - they look interesting, eh? I wonder how they compare to the harp. We should see if we can purchase some, I think, and learn, hm? The Lady Beverley bought me one, in several stations back, as a welcome gift."

Spirit!
“Maglor?” He murmurs, all but failing to hide the surprise on his face. Once or twice might've been coincidence, but three times is fate - and in the deepest of his hearts, he knows that there's a Reason they keep running into each other.
\o/
"You seem very at home here - I am assuming the faction claimed you?"

"Mm, not in particular - there is just so much here! But if you can point me to some good histories and language treatises I will be grateful."

He rubs the back of his neck in apology. Stefan would've offered access via his librarian privileges, but his friends have already claimed that great honor. As it is, he can't check out anything more without looking suspicious.

"Of course you would've been," Stefan says, shaking his head with amusement. "I don't know why I even asked."
no subject
"I... well. It seemed foolish to refuse, if it granted me access here."
